How about more retaining walls or cliff faces
Shane
The retaining wall shown here used WS N scale pieces on my HO layout.
Above the retaining wall are some rock faces. There is a two lane road between the retaining wall and the rock faces which can't be seen due to the low camera angle.
More vertical faces, please. Natural or man-made.

It looks to me like Kevin's latest request was for more fleets so I'm going with that.
I bought a 6 car set of Nickel Plate 2-bay hoppers which I thought would be good since my fictional NYBW interchanges with the Nickel Plate but the more I looked at it, it didn't make sense for my road to receive coal from the Nickel Plate so I rebranded the 6 cars for the NYBW. I use these cars to service the coaling tower at my engine terminal.
Stay with fleets.
John-NYBWMore fleets of anything.
About fifteen years ago when I decided to get back to the hobby I went to Vancouver hobbies to look around and got this on the close-out rack. It was the first HO car I bought. I looked up to see how many #s were issued for this car and found there were six. I thought it would be fun to see if I could collect all six. It took two or three years but I spotted the last one on a rack at a train show from a distance, could it be the one # I did not have? It was! I paid $19.00 to $36.50 for them as I came across them, all were new. I have since seen complete sets of these for a premium on eBay.
The STRATTON AND GILLETTE will interchange with the DAWDLE AND DELAY on my next layout, so I have a fleet of D&D freight cars. I think I have about ten of them painted so far of various types.
More Fleets.
