Dare I say, it's been a relatively good week at work.

I have worked at Home Depot for 49 weeks, and I can honestly say that every week has been a good week at work.

Of course, I am comparing that to me previous job and all of its responsibilities.

This is much better.

Good evening

It's no wonder I post here anymore.

I used to be known as Post Hog and then we got 403 Forbidden.

Then the site started freezing up and in midstream of coordinating a post, pictures and texts disappeared into Oblivion.

Now I have 2/3 page ads hovering across the screen erasing my cursor of my text.

I'm not one to complain at all as you have surely seen through the years.

This is the reason I don't post as much anymore.  I post from my phone and it's become quite a battle that I'm not sure I'm willing to keep dealing with.

It's been a great 5 years and make no mistake, I love you guys and have always enjoyed talking with you.

I have parked the frequency of posting often because of difficulties posting from a phone.

Try using Duck Duck Go for your phone browser.  Normally I use a laptop, but when I use the phone, Duck Duck Go eliminates some of the problems you mentioned.

I remember you telling me that about 3 years ago, and I did add it to my icon roster and took it for a test drive.

I tried it out on the Forum here and some of the threads on the Forum were missing.

Maybe I should use it only when I'm posting and not reading.

Thanks John

Did you know if you Thank your Ship Captain while getting off the boat for sailing you, he will break his busy schedule and take a picture with you?

I was a bit floored after Judy and I thanked him, how everyone else behind us getting off the boat, (like they had no previous manner training), thanked him too.

But there again, that's my Judy!

Abbey is spelled with an 'e'... otherwide you woulld be a dear girl's name.

Yes, we make our own cookies, and sometimes we even get to eat them. Mostly they are served to groups using our facility.

We do get to eat the banana bread, asnd many other breads that brother A bakes. We always have our own bread. I like the English Muffin Bread with slabs of butter and our own home mad marmalade.

The animal is a mantacore, and is a friend of Newt Scamnder. (Sea Harry Potter)

LION reads Harry Potter several times a year, and watches the movies every Saturday whn I have to sit in the visitor's center and answer phones and welcome guests.

Good evening Dave

I can't take credit for that.  Not my picture, as I remember it was the free Kitty Cat site and I thought that picture was really cool!

But you're right.  It was right around Halloween and that's probably why I thought that picture was pretty coolLaugh

Well,  A spelling lesson from the BroadwayLionHuh?

Now my life is finally completeLaugh...Wink

You know, I've been looking for a good marmalade on the grocery shelves and have been unsuccessful finding a good one to my liking.  If you could tell me where to get the good stuff, I would appreciate it Elias.

My oldest daughter likes the Harry Potter books.  I see her as a bookworm unlike my other daughter that likes to go rock hunting in gravel pits.  She has a tumbler but so do I.  I guess we're all different.

The other daughter gave me one of her books to read and I must confess, I haven't read it yet.  I do like the trains of that book in the movie though.

It ain't too late yet but I'm tired and I'm gonna hit the rack.

TF,

The best grocery store marmalade in my opinion is Robertson's. It comes from Scotland and can be found in any grocery store here. It is made with Seville oranges. There are better ones but it is good. Last Christmas I got a jar of marmalade from Fortnum & Mason in the UK and it was really good but really expensive.

Good morning Diners.  Tea and toast with Robertson's Marmalade please,  Zoe.   Tell TF  Robertson's is good.     As for Fortnum & Mason  that's a hamper of 'goodies'.

Amongst a few 'trinkets' I have collected over the years,  a picture of me with the Captain,  0500  hours arriving Livorno, Italy.   (The QM2 mug is now in the possession of my oldest grandson.)

Thanks for the suggestion Charlie.  Being that it's from Scotland, I'm definitely going to have to give that one a try.

Well, I have a deck all prepped from yesterday and ready to paint this morning on tier 09.  Then I have 2 days off with Ju Ju.  We need to go to the grocery store and I'm going to look for that Robertson's marmalade.  I bet that would be good on an English muffin.

I'm a little upset with Smucker's cherry preserves.  I've been buying that for years and the last jar I got had no full cherries in it.  I don't even know how they can even call it preserves at that point.  Maybe it was just a fluke, I will grab another jar.

We make our own, although I do not have the recepie. I do know that the prncipal fruit in it is zuchinni with the key flavors fruits and colors such as orange, cherry, apricot, raspberry or strawberry added to the standard base.

This is due to supply train issues.  Read in one of the business papers that Smuckers is scraping the bottom of their cherry storage vats because of a shortage of whole cherries.

Seems that the drivers for the company that Smuckers has a hauling contract with have gone out on strike demanding better wages and benefits.

So until this is settled, you will have to blame the truckers who haul for Smuckers.

How about a brief respite from short lines?

Late afternoon at Henry House by Mike Danneman, on Flickr

That photo is just too good to pass up.

Dee Ann and I had our second booster yesterday. No more room for entries on our vaccine ID cards Whistling

Got new engines to play with. I'll be in the train room if anyone's looking for me.

Cheers, Ed

Good late evening

Didn't find any marmalade at the grocery store.  In fact there was none.  Only two jars of Smucker's cherry preserves and I grabbed them both.  The cherries are in there againYes

All in all the day was good as I got my painting done early this morning and spent the rest of the day with Ju Ju.

I'm not too sure about tomorrow though because one of my Judy's friends is a bit down and out and needs some help.
