I guess the real question is simply why doesn't MODEL RAILROADER want to host pictures right here? I'm on some other forums that are hobby-related and they all host photos which makes life a whole lot more simple.

nycmodelI went to Flickr after the Photobucket debacle. Just one thing to note, the BBcode link works fine as long as you use only the part after and including the "https" up to and including the file type such as ".jpg". Using the whole BBcode, at least in my experience, will not allow the image to be posted, in this or any other forum I frequent. You results may vary.
You must be using the picture icon then.
If you just copy the whole magilla into your text you will get a picture, and an attribution to Flickr and your Flickr name.
If you only copy everything including (IMG) and including (/IMG) where the parenthesis are actually the square brackets, you get just the picture.

I heard a suggestion for Railimages so I'm trying it out. I had a Flickr account many years ago and found it slow, but I may try again if Railimages does not work out.
