More automobile carriers, please.

Thank you for the opening of the Jarrell's December Show Me Something, Wayne Yes

The open auto rack cars are ones I made many years ago from kits made by Quality Craft. They are made of wood. Same with the TOFC flat cars.

Please show either automotive equipment or intermodal equipment.

Sorry about starting a second "Show Me Something" thread by mistake. That was terrible of me. I was looking for "Jarrell's Show Me Something", not "Welcome to Jarrell's", so I missed it.

Please continue with the fun. I will contribute as I can. The current request is...

This is the Dunnville Station, and it, and the raised right-of-way, were courtesy of the New York Central, which at one time owned a major share in the Grand Valley Railway.  Central was long gone by the time of my late '30s modelling era...

The far wing includes the railroad's express business, the near wing a Post Office, while the centre portion, accessed one floor down at street level, is the station.  Railroad-related offices mostly fill the upper stories.

While the track has been ballasted since that photo was taken, there's still not much more of the town built, which explains the empty platform.

The Atlas ranch style house at right rear
The green Revell Suburban house; a clone of their farm house
The Revell school, a clone of their depot
All on my layout and all 3 from one of my 1960s layouts. All have had some restoration work done

PS...... I just successfully posted this phto in another forum...... SO, the problem must be with the MR forum . Do any other Flicker users have trouble here in the MR forum ?

I simply use a copy > paste  from the Flickr share BBC window, Garry. Seems to be OK for me.

Both of the Branchline reefers shown below were originally billboard-style beer reefers.  Since billboard cars were outlawed before the time of my late-'30s era layout, I stripped off the lettering, and slightly re-detailed the cars during assembly.

I had decals on hand for this one...

...and lettered this one for my freelanced Grand Valley Export Company....

The Erie Northshore's "BEE", originally a gas-electric, but later converted to diesel-electric, is a modified Rivarossi combine....

The front frame and fuel tank is part of the frame from an Athearn F7, as is the front truck.  The sideframes on that truck are from Detail Associates, as are many of the other detail parts.  The headlight and class lights are from Cal-Scale, while the pilot is from a Bachmann Northern.
The rooftop radiator is partially scratchbuilt, along with parts from an MDC 3-in-1 kit, the air intakes from an Athearn geep, and some rooftop fairing from New England Rail Services, while the coach seats are from Pikestuff.
While both front and rear trucks pick-up power, only the front one supplies the power to the track, via a Mashima can motor, mounted on its flat side, and driving through the stock Athearn drive train.

It's a smooth runner (moreso than the jerky video below shows) and a great puller...
