Depends what you need, but I would definitely give this a try:

http://greenwayproducts.com/brass-builders-corner-trackside-specialties/

He has acquired parts from builders, including Westside (according to the description in the link), so I would get in contact and send a picture of the model with the missing part(s).

I was able to find many parts for my Overland C&O L-2a (drivers, cylinders, pilot, boiler front, and they also had valvegear parts for this locomotive that were not listed on their website - so yes, by all means, give them a call.

Good luck.

Hi Bill, and Welcome to the MR Forums!

It would help to know exactly what parts are needed.  There are lots of sources for detail parts, and some for mechanical repair parts, too.  For some mechanical repairs, though, you may have to improvise or even make your own replacement parts.

OK. I have to ask. What is a Westside G5 2-6-0? If you're talking about Westside's PRR G5 4-6-0, I can tell you that it depends on what parts are missing. Many years ago I had to replace the brushes on mine and never found brushes that fit. So I replaced the motor with a new can motor. Detail parts can be replaced with catalog parts from many different sources. If it's really a 2-6-0, then I have no ideas. You really need to be more specific.

Thanks everyone. I need the front pilot wheels and the truck that holds them. It is the same as the PRR g5 4-6-0, except that it is actually Long Island. I say this because it doesnt have the PRR badge on the front, has the LI. Could be wrong but that the research I did on it shows. Thanks again guys.Smile

Just so you are aware, and Al will tell you this (or it can be easily found on their website), Greenway will not be filling orders until late April.
