Small Nscale shanty
Posted by Marc_Magnus on Monday, October 16, 2017 1:09 AM

I build these small (extremely small) shanty in Nscale for my Maclau River this weekend.

They were a two evening project and had a lot of fun to give them some details.

They are lighted with leds inside.

Marc,

The construction, painting, attention to detail, and composition are fantastic.  I spied a brad nail smoke stack.Big Smile

Great modeling at any scale, but especially this one!

Modeling the C&O New River Subdivision circa 1949 for the fun of it!

Very nice Marc. Very nice. I wish I still had the vision I did when I was in my 20s so I could build and paint small structures like that...

Well (harrumph) the eyelashes on the figure in the red shirt are all wrong (cough cough).

First rate modeling.

The reason of the use of nails for stack is because I don't find nothing tiny enough to make quite proportional  stack for these "small building"  which are around and under a 1/2 "x1/2"x1/2" or 1,1cmx1,1cmx1,2cm....You say tiny.

These laser kits didn't come with stack and it was fun to scratch them with small nails and give them an old looking stack with pliers.
