I was curious if any coil cars with this specific look of coil cover exist in HO?
While I have not personally seen a model, it would be a very easy scratchbuild project.
Hardest part would be the curved portion, but even that can be done relatively easily.

That's true, but then it wouldn't be "scratchbuilding", ummm, scratchgrafetting.
I am seeing more of these (for want of a better term) "butter dish" hoods on the railroads. Someone should put a bug in State Tool & Die's ear to come out with this in HO - they already have some unusual coil car hoods.
