Models for 2005

I'd settle just for the models BLI has already announced! I'm not happy that the ATSF 2-10-2's got pushed back again...I'm beginning to think I'll be lucky to get them by 2005

I did a little research today in my case really want a 2-8-8-2 allready have the class A if the class a was heading south and the 2-8-8-2 was heading north and,passed each other,would I be able to tell the difference in the engines by the sounds they produced.Not talking about the whistle but mainly the chuff.Everything that I could find out was no, same sound system= same train.I would think that a 2-8-8-2 in real life would be different in the sounds it made compared to a 2-6-6-4.I never heard either in real life so I am only guessing untill I can research this more.I still want the P2k engine but might wait till soundtraxx releases its new line of sound to see how it stacks up against Bli.I know the original release of this engine by life like is one fine steamer.

I requested the Baldwin Shark at Trainfest. I'd like to see the B&O President class Pacific's, A B&O 2-10-2, and the Cincinnatian (price would b e a factor of course on all of these.)

If they want to make some very happy customers they should consider building UK prototypes, diesels in classes 40, 47, 50, 56 and an electric 87, and a some steamers like the 6233 and 71000 would all sell the pants off anything over here,

I completely forgot about Life Like![:I] They'd do just as good a job as Spectrum or BLI if not better.

A 2-6-0
A 4-6-0
A 4-6-2, Anything but a K4.Something w/a feedwater heater,for NYC,or that I could convert to NYC.

Lifelike heritage locomotive detail is far superior than, BLI ,& it's got the same sound system as BLI.

My guess is the QSI equipped P2K steamers will rival anything out there, IF they do their homework on the tenders. Heaven knows the straight DC versions are fine machines.

Nothing. I can't keep up with what they are doing now. So they should just redo what they did the last few years painted with new numbers.

I used to spend more on model railroading, but now since I can't afford everything I get into quandries between two or three products and don't end up buying any of them. Lets see, do I want a Broadway Limited set of GN E8s original paint, or a 2-8-2. Couldn't decide so I haven't purchased either. If they would have come out with only one, I would have it.
