Guy PapillonShow me another 2-8-0 Consolidation
Well, at the risk of being a thread hog, it has been 24 hours afterall...
Here's a Pennsy Consolidation that has just finished up at the coaling wharf.
Show me another locomotive being serviced.
Looks like nobody is getting serviced so lets take them out for a run.
Please show me your favorite locomotive.

AlantrainsWow, thats as old as me!
Cheers, the Bear.

Opps
Not sure I have an absolute favorite locomotive, but certainly one of my favorites is this 0-6-0 yard goat I use at Hopewell Junction on the SLOW. The loco is a Proto 2000 and is my smoothest runing loco. Here she is at the end of the yard lead with a long string of cars she is switching out.
Another favorite loco please.
Ray Seneca Lake, Ontario, and Western R.R. (S.L.O.&W.) in HO
We'll get there sooner or later!
This Stewart F3 is one of my favorites. As well as its being a good runner, my wife's dad was an MEC engineer who drove similar locos

More faves? Alright. Here's my fave, my Hornby Thomas (Who is going to be stripped of my horrendous paintjob ASAP):
In the interest of satisfying gmpullman, he's also having his tank filled up at my homemade (and presently in need of TLC) water crane.
Show me a steam loco hauling a hi-level or bi-level passenger train
Interiors and people figures make such a difference. Especially the people.

Well, no one can accuse gunkhead of asking for the mundane
So, I was just about to post my favorite locomotive and had it narrowed down to the top twenty.
This sweet New York Central Mohawk, 3144, is near the top of the list and she is seen here in 1955, nearing the end of her career, leaning into the curve on a stretch of the old Big Four, ferrying the first group of Chicago and North Western bi-levels from the St. Louis Car Co. to their home road in Illinois...

Yep, you sure don't see that everyday...
Hey! We get a bonus day of show-me-something this month!
Show me another passenger train... at speed!
P.S. gunkhead—are you only wearing one sock

LOL. Nah, that's just a bit of laundry that slipped out of my hand when I was putting it away and that I hadn't got 'round to picking up.
Thanks for the photo you took, I really appreciate it.

Hard to pick a favorite, but if it comes down to it, I guess I'd have to pick this K4s, No. 1361.

Well, here is my (current) favorite loco:
It´s a Furka Oberalp Railway (FO - now MGB for Matterhorn Gotthardbahn) class HGe 4/4 series II narrow gauge (1,000mm) boxcab electric rack loco built in the late 1980´s.
Catenary is still missing, but will be added!
