Good topic!  These two E7s are fresh out of the shop having been re-motored, DCC Sound Decoderized and re-painted.

Not grain Hoppers, but stock car hoppers (trying to avoid being detected by determined Easter Egg hunters)

Now back to some grain hoppers please.

It's been 24 hours so I will post again.

Here imo is a 50's tank car. It looks like it just came out of the shop, but I'm basing it's age on the old Gulf ID. In the early 50's Gulf changed it's ID to what it is today.

Please show us a special purpose car.

Well this brand new piece of equipment is heading West to its new home in the Rockies. It has been dropped off and picked up at several spots along the way, but will make it to its destination eventually.

Show me something you would have seen on the rails before 1920.

My current and what seems to becoming a lifetime project is the overhaul and cleanup of my control panel.

I’ve been at it off and on since just after Christmas and I’m only about half done.

Because of the all the bending and crawling it takes it’s toll on my 78 year old body.  I stopped counting at about 1000 connections.  I didn’t take a before picture of the “spaghetti bowl”.  It looked pretty bad after 25 years of patching this and adding that.

It’s looking much better now with everything organized and labeled.

Show me a Kitbash Project.
