Does anyone make an HO coaling station that is already built? I can use a small one but don't have the eyes to build it myself. All local modellers are busy with their own things. Barring that, how else did steamers get their coal on very short lines?

Bachmann has one. I just looked at Amazon and other online companies sell them.
They sell assembled and unassembled the last I knew. I see the assembled one at times at my LHS. I think the unassembled is snao together. Glue not needed. Saw that in a search.
Search Google for Bachmann Trains HO Coaling Station.
Search for ho scale coaling station. I saw a real small one with a big pile of coal next to a platform. the shoveler would stand on while shoveling coal into the tender. Very nice for a short line RR.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
The simplist solution would be to use a pile of coal and a portable conveyor. I think Walthers has a simple kit or a pre-bulit of the latter. Not an uncommon sight on a small RR.

Time...It marches on...without ever turning around to see if anyone is even keeping in step.
The Bachmann model is, I assume, the Plasticville model and while very easy to assemble, it is not itself a great model. I have seen modified versions that look surprisingly decent but with that amount and kind of work you might as well build the Model Power kit. In my own opinion Plasticville stuff is now horribly overpriced for what you get, perhaps because there are now Plasticville collectors. Plasticville stuff is or was so common that if I wanted that coaling tower I'd put it on my swap meet want list rather than pay even a discount off of current list price.

Bruce,
Here's what the Walthers one looks like:
Valleymodeltrains.com also has this:
Both are kits, though.
Another option is to keep an eye on eBay for one that someone has already assembled and painted. You may have to pay a bit more for it but...the work is done for you.
Checking Walthers, their stock seems to be all kits; this is the Bachmann/Plasticville one; as someone mentioned, not much for $27.50:

I have bought several assembled kits at train shows

This is about as basic as it gets. I saw a couple layouts some years ago with a couple similar representing a short line RR. Would depend on your era. Many years ago, labor was cheap.

Here's one, built up:

Just be glad you don't have to press "2" for English.
