Suggesting Products to Manufacturers
Posted by Indy Rail on Friday, March 6, 2015 1:17 PM

Everybody knows that in order for a Manufacturer to produce something we want, there needs to be a very large amount of requests. List what products you would like the manufacturers to produce and lets all pitch in and email the Manufacturers and suggest the products. Here's some products I want to see produced: Broadway Limited: C&O 4-8-4 J-3a, NKP 4-6-4 Hudson J-1, N&W Unstreamlined J class. Athearn: NS SD60E, GP20C-ECO. Atlas: U23B.

Atlas: U23B

If you are asking for HO, Atlas already made a U23B, last time advertised in November 2009: http://www.atlasrr.com/HOLoco/hou23b5.htm

Speaking HO.

Since I'm going into a job that that pays a little less per hour than what I was getting, new locomotives are a little further out of reach than before. Overall, I would like to see BLI offer a more economical line over what they currently have. Since I run DC, I would like several of their locomotives available without DCC/sound and priced accordingly. A really steep request.

Otherwise. In non brass versions. A Reading G3 4-6-2, Reading K1 2-10-2, and an E44.

Since the Title to your thread reads "Suggesting Products to Manufacturers " I assume it isn't limited to locos.

It will be too late for me but the first item on my list would be weathered track. There is nothing I hate more than weathering track, so much so it delays progress on my layout.
