Sponsored by the Wisconsin South Eastern Division (WISE Division) of the NMRA
Saturday November 13 and Sunday November 14 at State Fair Park in West Allis WI (west of Milwaukee). In addition to lots of dealers and many manufacturers, there are railroad historical societies, displays, and lots of operating layouts. I am sure the Kalmbach folks will be there in force. This is a large show in a new and very comfortable structure, with food and drink available on site.
A couple of years ago TrainFest looked to be in some danger due to a huge increase in rent at the new facility but due to continued strong attendance, increases in manufacturing interest by way of the MRIA Model Railroad Industry Assn - and yes, a hike in the fee to attend, the immediate future of TrainFest looks pretty good. It is worth traveling to attend and I hope to see you there.
