Here is an old photo from my website. NYC RS-32 #8038 can be seen through the trees near the entrance to Baron's Oil Company, as it crosses Route #32 at the head of a short freight.

How about another grade crossing?

Here's a grade crossing on my old layout. Let's see a grade-separated crossing.

I have 3 of them

GP-40-2 BM-300 & 301 do not have dynamic brakes, slug 100 has nothing but traction motors

GP-7 MEC 572 has no dynamic brakes, but has a steam generator

Show me a 'torpedo boat' GP-9, i.e. the one that has the air tanks on the long hood roof

It has been awhile since the last post.  So, either show me a torpedo boat as per the last request, or show me something Norfolk Southern

If no one can show us one of those soon, than something CSX will work too.

It has been more than 12 hours, so to keep things moving, I will jump in again with GP-38s MEC 251 and 263. They are old Atlas models that I stripped and repainted to a couple of prototype photos

Well, this might be bending the rules a little bit as it's a piece of train room decor and not on the layout. But it's been 17 hours and it has a Chessie Cat on it. Show me a Corvair.

Yup, Mr. Nader's favorite. Stick out tongue (A model of one on a layout, not the real deal obviously).

I was tempted to post a GG1,  but somehow I suspect you guys want steam.    Here is my UP Challenger,  out of place on my New Jersey Electrified layout, but I won't complain, its a cool engine!

this is an older picture,  but unfortunately I will have to take down the wire to rebuild it,  so it will look like this again soon.   Steel wire has ideal strength properties, but it rusts and comes apart,  unacceptable, so it has to be replaced.   Its also harder to cut and solder, but that can be overcome.

Phosphor bronze is the normal favorite of traction modelers, but its not as stiff as I'd like it to be.

Here is something unique, a Jersey Arrow II.  VERY few of these were made.    Its difficult to see, but the wire is barely hanging in there.  The force of the pantographs (spare from the new Walthers Metroliner) is particularly excessive, and I'm surprised the wire is being forced up more.
