Well today my wife wanted new furniture in the living room so we got a new couch and love seat. I out the old couch and love seat out in the garage until bulk pick up could ge them. So I was out working on mounting a switch machine and my wife came out and sat on one of the couches with our newest child and said "this would make nice gameroom a few touches here and there and the kids could playout here. My ears perked up finally a room that will have A/C and heat carpet and no automobiles parked inside. A real train room I can enjoy without having to move a car out everytime I want to run trains.
I am so excited I had to share the news.
Yeah!!!

Hi UP4018; Sounds like you hit the loto. Congrats. Where is Sachse? I'm located between Ft. Worth and Weatherford.

JACKPOT!!
Just a small suggestion. Make sure you talk it up that all the fixings are for the children/gameroom You aren't even thinking about the benefits for your layout. [;)]
Layout! What Layout? [:D][:D]

Maybe if she buys the AC and carpet that will "ice the cake".
Being old is when you didn't loose it, it's that you just can't remember where you put it.

Well she is already talking window unit and there is this little heater that looks like something you would see in an old train station she want s to keep with already existing decor which is trains.
My layout is already started I was just sharing the space with her car she has been wanting a place that the kids could play and so she decided to just park her car out side. so can leave the drop leaf section of my layout up.
Sachse is crammed in between Wylie and Garland I live off of the west side of 78 close enough to hear every KCS freight run through town.
