Southern Railway never had any of these.  The premise behind the model is that some SD45's were on lease to GN and were wrecked; this was returned in place of one that was beyond repair.

Since this is (U.S.) Veterans Day Weekend, how about anything related to the military?  Lots of room for interpretation on this one!

I had owned this Manufacturers Railway Co MP-15 for a while when I came across a photo of the prototype taken from almost the same angle and lighting.  I thought that was unique.

Maybe a bit hard to see, but there is a Digitrax facia plate at the end of both aisles, and a Digitrax throttle at the end of the right aisle on the Boothbay Railway Village layout
