I'm hoping this guy got pardoned this year.....  He is a pet out at the Finger Lakes Live steamers!  He'll come right up to you and beg for treats.

Don't have one with him riding the trains, but here is a shot of the main attraction out there.

Ok!  For today and today only, as the OP of the thread...., Show Me Something can be related to YOUR Thanksgiving Day.  It can be a meal, a parade, decorations, family... whatever!  If you would like to stay with the tradition of the thread that is perfectly fine, but if you do and someone immediately behind you posts a photo of Uncle Elmo stuffing the turkey, please don't get upset. A brief description of the photo would be great so we'll know what we're looking at IF it's not self explanatory.

Remember, this ends today at midnight Pacific Time in the U.S. and we go back to our regularly scheduled broadcasts.

I wish you all a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

Heartland Division CB&Q

I made this station from a Fine Scale Miniature kit. I built it over 20 years ago while recovering at home from injuries caused by a drunk driver. At the time, I modeled the 1900 era, and now the station is in storage. I am thinking of using placing it on my 1960 era layout anyhow.

Please show another building or structure made from a craftsman kit which has mostly wood parts such as FSM, Campbell, etc.

I have an Western Maryland RS-2 (#182) that I got as a prize, but I model the modern era, so it really doesn't fit in with anything else I have, but then I thought about all the "tourist railroads" that use old locomotives, so I rewrite historyso instead of being scrapped, the locomotive was purchased by a weathlyrail fan who made a "tourist railroad" and currently is using tracks shared withCSX, but on a larger layout the "tourist railroad"/musem will have it's own tracks.
