My scratch built model of Lisbon NH station. The prototype is only a few miles away, and a local group led by Roger Robar renovated it. I took pictures, and worked from that. It's been on the layout a couple of years now, and the roof is beginning to delaminate at the corner. Next time, use something better than Duco cement on the roof. I have since ballasted the track. It has interior lighting and I hand painted all the passengers waiting for the train.

Southern Railway never had any of these. The premise behind the model is that some SD45's were on lease to GN and were wrecked; this was returned in place of one that was beyond repair.

I'll give you four. I know these look like plain ol' 100-ton PS2 covered hoppers, but they were remade from Atlas Trainman 70-ton hopper cars. I bought eight, cut the tops off half of them, and extended the height of the other four. If you look real close at the second photo you can see the little notches in the vertical braces where I added the extra material.
[Naturally, shortly after I did these, Athearn came out with their own exquisitely detailed PS2 100-ton 2-bay covered hoppers...]

Except for a couple of equipment boxes, this bridge is the only scratch built item on the layout:
The Route 32 overpass bridge was made with styrene shapes and sheet stock. The bridge abutment was made from two Atlas 3-inch Bridge Piers cut in half lengthwise and trimmed to fit on top of a couple of shaped wooden blocks. The bridge deck and support beams are removable for easy access to the track.

My brass kitbash. The loco started out as a junker PFM Santa Fe 3800 series 2-10-2 that I bought for a smile at a swap meet about 10 years ago. With some bashing, sawing, soldering, epoxying and a bunch of new detail parts I was able to turn it into a reasonable facsimile of a Rio Grande F-81 1400 series 2-10-2. It was a fun project.

If I recall correctly, it was originally used on the Ak-Sar-Ben Zephyr. There were 4 cars of this type, and they were on several trains. These cars were commonly used on the Kansas CIty Zephyr during its final years of service. They had parlor car seats in the rear and a 1/2 of a dining car in the front end.

I don't know what you are viewing them on, or how you have, your screen set, but, they come in perfect, for me. Actually, I believe, the photos, come in better and clearer,than before, on my screen, anyway! I am on a ACER, 15.4'' WXGA wide CrystalBrite TFT LCD.

What is your computer monitor's resolution set at? If you have to scrool from side to side to see the complete text or image, you may want to adjust your resolution. As an example, on my HP laptop, the resolution is at 1366 X 768. Meanwhile, show us a covered bridge was the current request.

Please show another building or structure made from a craftsman kit which has mostly wood parts such as FSM, Campbell, etc.

I have an Western Maryland RS-2 (#182) that I got as a prize, but I model the modern era, so it really doesn't fit in with anything else I have, but then I thought about all the "tourist railroads" that use old locomotives, so I rewrite historyso instead of being scrapped, the locomotive was purchased by a weathlyrail fan who made a "tourist railroad" and currently is using tracks shared withCSX, but on a larger layout the "tourist railroad"/musem will have it's own tracks.
