Who's got links to photos of their layouts (or just some pix if no website)?
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, September 29, 2004 3:58 PM
One of the coolest things here is seeing what others are doing with their layouts. For those of you who do have photos posted of their layouts, could you give us the web address so we can check em out? Granted, they're scattered all over this forum, but I think it would be great to have a bunch in one place so they're easily accessible (maybe a running topic would be good for this???).

Here's your chance to let MR readers see your layout, even if it never gets into the magazine [;)] (maybe the MR staff should consider promoting that).

Moi ici!

Most of my layout shots are on Webshots, but I'm slowly switching my stuff to Railimages.com. The links are on the signature.

Here's mine: http://ddwngauge.homestead.com/index.html

And if you want zillions more to look at, the NMRA site at http://www.cwrr.com/nmra/ is probably the best. Go to "Layout Tours"

You can see my N-scale layout pictures here: Belmar Valley

Most of my pictures have digitally added backgrounds, since my plain blue sky boards are so boring. I also like to play around with photo editing software. Not exactly up to the standards of other member’s shots (and work), but it’s the first layout I’ve taken into the scenery stage.

Modular railroading at its best!
If it has an X in it, it sucks! And yes, I just had my modeler's license renewed last week!

Here's a fe pics of my 4-4-2 running on my son's layout.
its a 4'x5' that slides out from under his bed. no scenery, and the grass and water are just paint on the MDF board. he and his sister of 1 and a half still walk al over it and sit in the middle as the trains run around them. Thomas the tank is the ruler of the layout, these pics just show my 4-4-2 on a night that he wasnt around.

Bear in mind he's had this layout for about a year...he will turn 4 in December.

Scratch b rules:

Maybe I should get a hamster or something for my layout [:D]. Seriously, how does T.T. react to the trains going by? Ever have to install a 'turtle catcher' on the front of your locos? LOL

Ain't the hobby great!
