I like hockey a bit but I'm not into low scoring sports much, MR'ing wins here.

I like the NHL, and I don't mind if my sons watch some during the winter. It's a beautiful *team* sport, still played by tough men with simple character ------ unlike athletes in the other 3 major sports. So, there will be less tv at my house this winter.

And I have to side with the league on this one.

Well I know this will stir the pot for some, but I thought it a valid question. Remember Keep your sticks on the ice and play nice.

Personally I played for 16 years and I can think of a lot better things to do with my time then watch someone chase a piece of rubber and get paid big bucks.
