Little behind the curve on this one, aren't you?

So far, doesn't seem like Boley vehicles are such a hot topic on this board, which is somewhat surprising.

I guess I was asleep at the switch as well; I did not know Boley was leaving the business until this posting.  Zzz

Although the Bolely quality was never the highest, the ratio of quality to price -- even list price -- was very very favorable.  More importantly they didn't simply offer "me too" knockoffs of other people's stuff but had several distinctive offerings.  I know some things that Ertl used to offer in their HO line were also picked up by Scenemaster so this makes a certain amount of sense but it does seem a pity to lose the more accurate licensed items.

I always like Boley's trucks especially the box reefer, straight box and flatbed. One needs these type of trucks around industries and city scenes since you see 'em everywhere..

We'll have to wait and see how long before the savants at Walthers will "retire" these models like they did all their other vehicles....mh
