Hi all.
Last weekend I went to my local "Radio Shack" to get a bottle of etchant (Ferric chloride) for some Campbell corrugated siding.
They said corporate told them a year ago that they should stop selling it because someone could make a bomb out of it.
That being said what could be used to do get a rusted and holed through look for corrugated aluminum?
I want to make a fence for a scrap yard on my layout.
Thanks.

Other places still sell it. Look for Printed Circuit Board Etchant.

The above is my opinion, from an active and experienced Model Railroader in N scale and HO since 1961.
(Modeling Freelance, Eastern US, HO scale, in 1962, with NCE DCC for locomotive control and a stand alone LocoNet for block detection and signals.) http://waynes-trains.com/ at home, and N scale at the Club.
Micromark has a whole assortmaent of etching kits and solutions: http://www.micromark.com/plating-and-etching.html
