Male, over 65, retired USN Electronics Technician, retired NASA Electronics contract employee. Model Railroader since 1962. Other major hobby was Radio Controlled Model Airplanes, inactive now.
Living on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Currently modeling in HO scale and building a layout called The Chesapeake and Atlantic. The C&A is a freelance model railroad (which means it is a fictional railroad) set in the year 1962, and is located in the area around South Eastern Virginia, Maryland, and West Virginia. It serves the small port of Chesapeake, two interchange yards, local industries, and some coal fields in West Virginia. There is a car float operation to the Eastern Shore at Port Chesapeake. The Western Maryland has a junction nearby for delivering coal and pulpwood.
