Most people on the midcoast area of Maine know the Dragon Products cement plant in Thomaston; on Boothbay RR Village, we represented that plant using a Walthers Valley Cement Plant, Golden Valley Canning (for the bagging plant) and a couple of DPM modulars for the operations and maintenance buildings

Just as a little sidebar to your cement plant and dock area. As a young man I hauled lots of bagged cement out of an Inland Cement Plant in our area.( This was 50 years ago ) "MOST" of the semi-trailers that we used were 28 footers with the 3 foot center of the deck being flat and the 2.5 foot edges of the deck were slopped upwards by about 8 to 10 inches at the outer edge. This allowed us to load quickly and unload fast as well unless we had to tarp for inclimate weather. The raised edges was enough that the bags never shifted outwards, only vibrating slightly towards the middle actually tightening your load together. The trailers had a small bulkhead at the front of approximately 3 feet for the same reason. and if loaded properly never slipped off the back. Occasionally depending on the destination and the condition of the highway, I might lash the rear two rows of bags with rope to the trailer just to be sure. Did not want any tickets for unsecured loads coming my way.
Hadn't thought about that in quite some time. It's great to reminisce.. Thanks.

It's been a long time since the last request, so I guess it would be O.K. to give one.
How about a Conrail locomotive (preferably an SD 80 MAC?)
You asked for Conrail loco.
Its not a SD 80 MAC, but it is a Conrail locomotive.
How about a small steam way freight?

Horse Drawn in 1:1 The Taylor City Transit Authority:
But other than this, I'll have to give it a pass. The LIONS ate all of the spare horses around my layout, though of course NYPD has the largest fleet of horses of any PD in the us. Maybe I should model a mounted cop. The horse is still the request...
