Wayne twice asked for an interurban .
Here are three beautifully restored CA&E cars at the IL Ry Museum. I have seen these cars at the museum. Long, long ago I road on the CA&E a few times while growing up in IL.
I would like to include interurbans on my layout, but that is a long way off if I ever do. There will be streetcars instead in one city eventually.
Back to the game. Is the lift bridge here yet?

Well, here's three U36Cs (10,800HP):
Something rough and unfinished:
A turntable:
And a lumber yard (about as close as I can get to a sawmill):
I'd still like to see an interurban.
Wow, no one has 3 or more -9's. ACe's, SD70/75's or a few SD45's in a Lash-up?
Well in all fairness, there have been a couple 'Double Posts' that have gone unanswerd, & if it is OK with folks, perhaps we open it up to those who are waiting & made a couple great suggestions?
Could be interesting!
Looking through the tread, these are the ones I saw;
John Whitten: Rough & Unfinished
Jarrell: a Turn Table
Motley: a Saw Mill
Just as a teaser (& hopefully a pleaser) I will add one that would Never, ever, Ever be asked;
A cheap dispay case base, a trestle, bridge track, dandelions, a shopping cart, creek, ICE, scratchbuilt cast abutments, rail bolt flange, my Avatar, & cool water distortion view... Hmmm ......
Doubt that would have been asked, ...no? (Sorry for embellishing, I thought the photo was so cool, that I had to post it.) The Shopping Cart rules!!!! It is made by 'Gold Medal Models'.
OK if tere is not any negative feedback, we are looking for;
Show Me Something;
10,000 +HP Lashup
Rough & Unfinished
A Turn Table
A Saw Mill
Please be kind, & consider requesting one of the suggestions you did not display.
Oh, ew, Oh, OH, eew, I may have that!!!!
Here is my little HOn3 SideWinder!!! A PSC model, I added a little red trim to the edges & a pair of PSC rerailers on thr front deck!

Ray Seneca Lake, Ontario, and Western R.R. (S.L.O.&W.) in HO
We'll get there sooner or later!
Here's a Hollywood poster. Nothing on my layout is Hollywood but the orignial Burlington Zephyr was re-named by Hollywood and was a star. .
Show us a small steam locomotive.
Tom,
That is an excellent shot! The figures, elevator, & trackwork make an interesting composition! Two thumbs up from over here!!!!
Okay, how about Charlie Pingree busily shoveling hot ash from a 2-10-2 into a wooden gondola? It's silly to everyone but Charlie, who doesn't know any better.
Oops, Chad beat me to it!
Okay, someone--Hollywood

Silly?
I think this HOn3 beep is silly, especially that the truck sideframes hold the brakes a scale foot-&-a-half away from the wheels. This was an eBay purchase, mostly to see how it was done...
Show Me Something; Hollywood (like a scale rendition of something that was in TV or Movies!)
OK I think you mean a downtown scene. Here's the BNSF downtown Denver North Yard.

Here ya go:
How about an interurban?

Scrap yard crane.
Show me some old automobiles. DJ.
ChadLRyan Sawyer, Sorry to have gotten that one in there, I was suprised it was open long enough to find my pic & write my post.. Your kit bash beats a Beep I got on evilBay once, I think I will dust it off & go take a shot of it, cuz it is so retardedly silly/stupid that it's cute. I'm really enjoying this tread, & hope it lives for a long time, it's fun to see some of the shots we would not normally see, or possibly show off, if it was not good-natured & entertaining like this is. Heh heh.. Thanks every one! This is fun!

Ok, kitbashed? Try this out. I made a couple of weirdo locomotives by taking a couple old freight cars and gluing on parts from some old trashed locos. Here's the pair (they're behind the boxcar):

I do not have a saw mill on my layout. I hope somebody does. I'd hate to see this fun thread stopped.
Michael, if you have one, I would not mind your taking a double turn to show it. I can not speak for Jarrell and others, however.
Great photos so far, everybody!
Come on you guys, we need some saw mill action now!!!
