jacon12 I don't know guys but I think you're going to have to get a little more generic in order to keep things moving and allow the MOST members to participate. There are times I get the feeling that the thread should have been named 'Stump The Forum'. But, that's just a little nagging feeling and maybe it'll go away with time. Jarrell

Chad, no offense taken.
Nobody gots a pedestrian bridge???
Rich, I didn't mean that in a mean way, I was making a joke, a funny ha hah.. Sometimes (well, All the dang time) I let out a post, without thinking of how it could be taken, & that one, wellsome may thing I was being mean, not, was just funnin' with you..
Art, that is an impressive haul, & that you can bridge track, & still be 'in gauge' like that, I hope you paid your union stewards well...... Ah Hemmmm..
Hey, I found this stone on a dig, not too long ago.. It has some irredecent veins in it, but getting brittle over time. Looks li,e Fools Gold Veins.. It's an X-FIle, & I don't let natural light hit it, (EVER!!!- cuz all Hell would break loose!!!)
Oh Yeah, Siesta!!! Bye...
Please repeat, Show Me a better Pedestrian Bridge.....
Show me a pedestrian bridge.

Soy un Pardador, Siesta maine......
Here is my Climax pulling a huge chuck of Chysochola out of the Quarry. It was so big we put it on two flat cars and then laid track so the engine coudl ride one wheel on each track and pull the two flat cars side by side. We got it out. It was the largerst single gemstone ever extracted. At least in my world.
Show me a forest,

ChadLRyan OK, I'm thinking I'm done now, no more silliness form me, (cuz this one is).... I'm taking a Siesta..... Lets keep this going in a good way, the 'Lull' lets me get goofy like this shot. So let's prevent that by contributing REAL modeling & resist my hypocrisis... (when an 'abonded tunnel' was requested I almost took a shot of one in my very big parts box!!!!!) Actually, it would have been pretty cool.. NOT! Show Me Something Maintenance of Way!

Chad:
Ooh, you've got one of those little bridges, TOO! I put mine over the South Yuba river so those illegal October fishermen wouldn't get their little feet wet, LOL!
Tom
Show me some maintenance of way.
Tom View my layout photos! http://s299.photobucket.com/albums/mm310/TWhite-014/Rio%20Grande%20Yuba%20River%20Sub One can NEVER have too many Articulateds!
LOL
Show me anything !
Rich, I think it's time for a change. Make another request please.
Show me a long string of oil tank cars.
It worked for me (the Stone Bridge), very nice work BTW!!!
Unfortunately I don't have a completed Barn, was altering a new Walthers one to the one I grew up with. Anyway, lets move on to more exciting & interesting pictures.
Show Me a Service/Maintenance Facility.. Please
Art, evidently it didn't count as a stone bridge...
Someone, anyone... request something!
Love those Old Dutch Hoppers. I don't know if this is a stone bridge or a retaining wall holding up a switch back on the side of a cliff. It was my first attempt at stone work with foam and acrylic paints. If it doesn't count maybe someone can give us a pic of the stone arch bridge in Minneapolis. I know there is a great model of that on the O gauge layout in Bandana Square.
If this counts show me an old barn.
Did some say something about Tyco Old Dutch Hoppers!
I may have the worlds largest collection of them!
I have 36 of them, all have been worked and pull like a dream with body mounted couplers, correct weight and PK 2000 wheels. Here they are at K-10 Model Trains layout out being pulled by my PCM Big Boy.
OK, back to a stone bridge.

Please show me a stone railroad bridge.
Ah, Sure..
How about,
Show Me an Intermodal Scene
Not exactly like this, but it is intermodal!
It doesn't look like we're going to get the FSM building, so Chad you came up with the Old Dutch Cleanser car, would you request some pretty generic please.
Here is a "Better Late Than Never" entry, cuz I was otherwize occupied when the request was posted..
Here is an old car, an "Old Dutch Cleanser" Hopper! Under the A end it says TYCO, & if memory serves, this would have been in my Grandfathers collection & on 4' x 8' layout in 1972 through 1976 -ish.. There is some handling wear on it it, & it was missing a hatch pin. It still has the original TYCO Talgo trucks with hook horn couplers. The unique thing on this car is that it had round porthole hatches on one end (B) & long 'through' hatches on the other end (A).. One classic car.
Glad to respond with a photo...
Now, back to: Show me something with an 'FSM' building! Please...
Things tend to slow down here when the requests to "show me" get too obscure.
We should keep it more generic.
Yes, very familiar with Fine Scale Minitures, George Selios. Franklin and Manchester. For some reason just didn't make the connect.
Oh guys, Art has requested an FSM building!
Fine Scale Minitures, George Selios. Franklin and Manchester, the new John Allen. He makes a kit like no one else. 1930's New England Depression era. Is that about right for a discription? Obviously I am among those who like his work. I hoped some of the rest of you have tried one and we can see how you interpreted it.
Ok Art, I'll bite. What is an FSM building?
It seems we called this a docksider when I was a boy. Here is mine heading to work the Malachite quarry.
