An EMD F7 hauling a passenger train on my old N scale layout:

Show me something...unexpected.

EDIT: I just realised that was a bit unclear.  I meant show me a scene on your layout where someone is caught off-guard.

The Location: Forests of the Pacific Northwest, Oregon
The Year: 1948
The Scale: On30

I know.....  I've already put something on this page, but I just can't resist this one!  Here is a pair of outhouses, his and hers, the way they had them at one time....  One appears to be in use as well.  Albert the handyman has been spoken to by the Reverend Miller about closing the door when he uses it, but it is a hot day, and, well, you know how those places have an odor.....

Show me a sign you made.

Another one from the club. These ~20' drop bottom gondolas were built for hauling nickel-copper ore in the Sudbury, Ontario area.

Let's see some sort of unique (or at least unusual or interesting) industrial operation.

Looks like Garry got there a few seconds first. Heavyweight passenger car it is.

Steam passanger Locomotive. I know its a Milwaukee engine on a GN train, bu we struggle to make ends meet here.  It sure is an old pic though. Making Kimm's Kanyon was one of the most fun projects.

That's true Art, I'm often away for an entire day at the time.  But I wouldn't expect the thread to sit idle for a day or even 3 or 4 hours, waiting for me to change my request.

The whole idea is to keep the thread moving, to involve as many members as possible.  If too much time elapses between requests members stop checking in.

Ok guys, Art has requested   a place to buy ice cream.!

Amusement Park. I sometimes need more than two hours to get back to the computer. Anyway, many find this corner of town amusing. There is a little park out back, but no pic

2 Hour Rule

Guys, we're going to have to institute a time limit on replies to a request to keep things from bogging down .  From this point on if there as been no reply to a request within 2 hours of it being made the person making the request has to make another.  If not, and we all have lives to lead and can't be here 24/7.... it's anybodies turn.  I have a feeling that is what's happening, a person makes a request and has to leave for whatever reason, no reply is given and the thread, as I said, bogs down.

Duplicate requests

It is perfectly fine to request something that has already been asked for, eg. anyone can request a turntable shot even though it was requested earlier.  Hopefully the person that replied to the earlier request won't answer thus giving someone else a chance.  Of course it would be ideal not to have duplicates but there are a lot of different turntable shots out there we haven't seen.   Smile

We've been there, and done that.  But just to keep things rolling along...

Show me an amusement park ride on your layout.

I have figured out what is wrong with my brain!  On the left side nothing works right, and on the right side there is nothing left!

0-6-0 would you like to try again and not be so specific?  If no answer in 30 minutes it's anybodies game.

Show me a small turntable away from an engine servicing facility (like out in the country).
