Flow, a big Dew again, nothing to eat for right now.

Jeffery If you install a fan in the dog house you will have heat now!  One thing I have learned in messing with cars is "just because it is new, does not mean it not broken". Have you checked to see if there is gas getting to the carburetor while the engine is just cranking? could be a semi clogged fuel filter or a weak fuel pump if the accelerator pump is good.

Far as the You just might be a redneck comment, glad you where not P/O. I as well have came up with some rather creative (Redneck) repairs. One time on a 70 Charger I had, the top radiator seam split, fixed with Body Filler till I could get the tank fixed right. Then there is my 70 Cuda, neutral safety switch went bad and car would not start. Hooked up a remote hand held starter and ran it to the dash. It as only temporary fix.  Been like that for 10 years?

No Redneck repairs for me. Never.

OK, so I decided to make good on my promise of update pictures first before leaving. Happy? Good.

(pins a couple pictures to the wall) Now, the photography is less than good, but when it comes to that, so am I. As youall  know I have not been able to do anything in a while, so naturally all is a w**k in progress and nothing is even close to being done and is not presented as such. (the preceding statement was not directed at any frequenters of the diner. It was for forum legal purposes only.)

This is looking at Gold Creek from the west with the Post Office/ GeneralStore/ Bar up and to the left. To it's right will be the Dance Hall. Were the glue gun is will be the B&B.  Where I am standing is against the wall (actually, in the closet) and where the corner will expand to for the next yet un named town. Not sure what will be there other than a passenger station. Possibly a residential area in the closet. To the right on the peninsula is the Tourist Trap Town

This shot is from the south. You can see the so far Tourist trap town in the upper left on the peninsula. In the foreground is the beginings of the elevator and where the benchwork stops will continue around und up shot to the unamed town. To the right off screen, is a couple businesses that I neglected to get in the shot. Maybe next time.

So that's where I stand now. Hopefully, I'll be back soon with more stuff done and it will look better.

Next.

Good Afternoon Folks,

Flo, I´ll go for a Barry-sized Hamburger with all the works, and a RBF, please. Goodness, don´t let Petra know this. Although I don´t have a cholesterol issue, she likes to keep track of my food intake.

It is a nice and sunny day today in northern Germany, but with a definite "smell" of autumn in the air. Temperatures have reached a comfortable 17 C, after only 2 C at night. This is my kind of weather.

As my funds still don´t allow for any MRRing, I have been watching some old (and boring) movies. Petra and I went for a walk in the neighboring forest, where we could watch some deer basking in the sun. Lots of squirrels, busily collecting nuts for the coming winter - a sure sign, that we will be in for some cold weather - or may be not, should we go to Tanzania!

Still no news from that end, but they had announced that they will be out for a few days.

Todd - that layout of yours is coming along nicely

Redneck repairs? I never touch my car, other than cleaning it and maybe giving it a lube job. I am glad My Renault runs like a jewel and is covered by a 1 year warranty!

You all have a good day!

Good morning....

I'm on my good behavior today. It's our anniversary.

Jeff .... People can call you redneck only after the van looks like this one. They are a bit premature with the redneck comments now.

It be fun to make an HO reckneck truck like that one.

Ulrich ... perhaps you can scratch build a model out of inexpensive materials just for fun.

Todd ... the layout is progressing very nicely! ... It'll be a great layout some day.

Happy Model Railraoding!

Good morning.  It's another cool morning.

I finally decided to see if I can get some of the "street running" this morning.  I finally made my way down to the street and I made it in time to catch a CSXT coming by.  I also get a shot of the street/rail, and Jessica got a shot of a old school house.

Now my plan is to work in the basement some.  Maybe make some boxes, and work on a Ann Arbor boxcar.

Todd........Your layout is really coming along.   Nice shots!!!

 Enjoy the pictures everybody!!

Mornin' everyone!

(Mornin' Bill)

Zoe I'll have the Spam, bacon, cheese, spam, egg and spam sandwich with lots of dark roast coffee to warm me up this morning.  On second thought, I just remembered I don't like spam, so you can give my spam to Garry to take camping with him........

Garry. nice camper ya got there!

I Have to look through the thousands of family photo i inherited from my dad one of these days and see if there any of the old farm trucks we had (1934 & 1936 chevy 4 ton axle).  Learned a lotta that redneck stuff myself grownin' up on a farm in Hopewell...

Currently 59°F here in the Finger Lakes under partly cloudy sky and lots of wind.....  Nice weather to tackle the lawn mowing ordeal.  Probably need to check the garden to see what is ripe out there and should be brought in as well.

Is it my imagination or is the info/ad bar on the right hand side of the page getting wider every day????  I have this 3" wide gray nothing on it after "Shortcuts"......

Best get a move on!  later!

Morning guys!

Well, we went to Railfest 2010 at Steamtown. They have visiting modern diesels from: CSX, NS, CP, Amtrak, someone else {I can't remember who},and the vintage diesels Steamtown repainted for Lackawanna, and the Reading lines, which pulled the excursion to Moscow, PA. with Steamtown engineer Bernie, who has been in Railroading since 1948 and obviosuly will be caried out of the loco cab and put into the ground as he is so devoted to RRing the guest engineer at the helm. There was also the NS exhibit car, which was only exciting if you got to "drive" the trian engineer simulator {the line was long so we didn't get to}, and a full compliment of Amtrak cars-which I alwasy find claustrophobic in nature and could not imagine cooped up in for a few days in a small berth!

They ran both steam enigines, #2317 Canadian Pacific G3c Pacific for the local "Scranton limited" yard ride, and #3254 Canadian National Mike for the "vintage caboose ride" run, which only ran back and forth on the same track in the yard all day. 2317 is supposed ot go away now for her 1374 day teardown/rebuild after today. Today {Sunday} they are supposed to run an excusion with a steamer pulling the way. They had some major track work going on in the yard so they had the setup all discombobulated we thought, but it worked, I guess. The static steamer displays were NOT back from asbestos abatement yet, so people new to Steamtown for this railfest could have been disappointed.

In the backshop, #26 is still in lots of pieces and doesn;t have her boiler tubes in yet, and they say she will be ready to run next summer? It seems as if the only things they got really accomplished on her this summer was the slopeback tender, which done which still  isn't even set on the wheels yet, either. MAybe they are optimistic they can get it done by next Railfest Next Labor day weekend?

The "Big Boy"'s cab was open to the public. They painted her preservation black with red handles and boy were there a lont of them! I woudn't want to be a fireman to have to know which ones did what! Even the guide didn't know what they all were for.

Boy were there some REAL "IDJIOTS" there. NOt just "idee ots", but "id jets" staying on the tracks, or too close to the tracks while the trains "played" in the yard!!!!! Talk about making the engineers nervous and the ground crew and conductors had to keep yelling at people to get out of the way!! Some people!

There just did not seem to be as much "substance" to this year's Festival. I don't know why. Of course, after just one hour of standing around watching them play with the steamers, my back {to borrow Jeffrey's phrase} began hurling major insults at me. ANd the weather held off rain, but the breeze was a bit chilly and after just 3 hours the buffeting of the wind on us was getting too much.

Misery loves company and our RRfan nut friend also has back problems on the order of having had surgery to install a electrical nerve pulse stimulator IMPLANTED in his body, so his back was feeling it, my other half has back aches if standing still a lot {which we did} and I of course, have my own back issues, so we all three were like the walking wounded walking around with canes! Boy getting old and having problems si nto fun. We took a sit down break every 45 mins-1 hour to rest our backs. I can see a Disney WOrld trip in our future might be problematic as I just can;t stand that long. WE actually left after just 4 hours, but had seen everything we wanted to see, and sat the last half hour watching them load the excursion train till it pulled off to the sunset so to speak. I did find the cane to be of help, and am glad it was yesterday we went as today is chillier and windier here than yesterday was. I was a very tired {fatigued} boy when we left.

Today definitely feels like fall to me. The house a bit chilly at 65* this am...shoulda worn more than jsut shorts to bed. Today is far colder than yesterday, but we are 20* + leower than Fridays temp. That often happens around here the first week/weekend of Sept that the temp drops and stays down. It is only to be inthe lower 70s this week I think.

Of course the cold I caught from my other half is now settling into my chest, which is bad for me as I am prone to brochial infections and pneumonia. I hope I get over it fast and that doesn't happen! GOing to the DR. won't really help unless I get real bad as they can't do much but give you worthless antibiotics, which either don't work, or the germs will be resistant to anyway. I am certainly miserable today though.

WEll, that is all for today, I need to get some much needed rest as I dont feel very good and havent been sleeping well lately either.

I worked on my father's truck this morning. Yesterday I couldn't get the passenger side window to go back up. Power windows, gotta love 'em! The problem turned out to be a loose wire on the control switch. It took less time to correct the problem than it did to get the door panel off and back on. Then I went down to clear out the Century a bit more. I went all through it removing anything that had my name or address or any other personal info on it. Then I removed the magnetic signs and flags from the doors. They had been on there so long it was almost as if the they had bonded into paint. The fire dept sign on the right side came off with some persuasion but the one on the left side ripped all to pieces. They had only been there since 2000.

Strong coffee in a  UNION PACIFIC  mug, please.

***Garry, that is a good pic of a true mobile home, (and our new desktop background).

***Todd, nice layout progress there!

Ripped out all the street lamps from the wife's (HO) town last night, including those I worked so hard to place in front of the hospital. Had to rip out the hospital to get to themBang Head, so will have to fix the pavement now, too. Anyway, installed 3 new lamps and will try to get 3 more done tonight.

Been working on the future front pasture, mostly root-raking in the evenings. These days a couple hours of that plumb wears me out.

Hope everyone is doing well. Cheers! Cowboy

Hey guys

Got the A/C in my car fixed finally, after a major "Doh" moment. If you guys remember the relay box I got from before? When I put it in, the A/C didn't work ; so I took it back out and used the old one. Today I went under the hood to check the wiring to the compressor to see if a joint between the relay box and the compressor was bad. Well guess what I found when I looked under the hood? The compressor was unpluuged! Dunce. Plugged it in and put in the new relay box and viola, cold air!!! lesson learned, plug stuff back in.

In train news, I got the box of stuff I ordered from hogtrainz, a set of TOFC cars I bought, and I bought another SW10. The hogtrainz box had 3 accurail AAR welded boxes (one each, MILW, GM&O, MKT), 5 packs of branchline bluepring metal wheels, and one Kato motor. I had ordered 2 Kato motors and a CN&W box (same type as above), so they refunded me for them. The set of TOFC cars was all athearns, 1 each C&O, UP, SSW, PFF (PFE or a TTX car?). The other SW10 hasn't come in yet.

on those SW10s, one will recieve a sound decoder and I'll add weight to them both. I would like to light the beacons, but the location makes in nearly impossible... I might be able to get it with fiber optics, but it won't be very bright.

I also modded an older Kato/Atlas Century chassis so I wouldn't have to pry the weights off, clean them, than glue the weights back down every time I have to have it apart for maitenence. I wasn't really looking foward for drilling metal through with a pin vise, and using my full-sized drill would be bulky. I had an idea to make a home-made mini-drill though.

Home-made mini drill: I Took a spare athearn motor, took off one of the flywheels and attached my double ended pin vise to the bare shaft. then I stuck my drill bits in the other end. Not nearly as fast as a drill, but better than pin vise my a mile. I used an older DC powerpack for control. It was kind of tricky to use whole holding the pieces in place, but it worked and I had good control of the speed.

Garry, happy belated B-day

Jeff, I did something like that the other day. I was adjusting the fender bolts (lining the fender up) and the wrench contacted the postive terminal. that was pretty shocking. I didn't fly or nothing. Just spassed out and ended up kind of flinging the wrench.

Vincent

Wants: 1. high-quality, sound equipped, SD40-2s, C636s, C30-7s, and F-units in BN. As for ones that don't cost an arm and a leg, that's out of the question....

2. An end to the limited-production and other crap that makes models harder to get and more expensive.

Hey look at this... I was able to still see what was left of the bread crumbs you guys left for me to follow to the new location!

Anyways, sorry for not being on as of late. I was on vacation all last week. And I didn't really do much, except buy a nice new 2010 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab. Well, that and go to two concerts at the Great New York State Fair. Vikki and I went Friday night in the rain and wind to see Tim McGraw w/ Montgomery Gentry and then yesterday (Saturday) wee went and saw Rascal Flatts with Kellie Pickler and Chris Young. Both were awesome concerts!!! Eventhough Vikki is now sick from being out in the cold damp weather both nights!

Oh well....

Anyways gang, I need to run for a bit.

Take care!

Good Sunday Afternoon/Evening, Flo, I'll have a bowl of the beef stew and an open face roast beef sandwich, please. Thanks! Oh, could I have a Dr. Pepper and for dessert, a RBF too, please? Great!

Jeremy, haven't seen Jerry since the changeover, so it might be due to that, or could be something else on his end. Dunno.

Robby, that was funny to read about your VW misadventure (in retrospect only! Surprise) - sometimes I think God protects us from our own stupidity. Well, maybe I'm mostly telling on myself there.... OopsWhistling

Rob, how close is your not-so-LHS? I forgot, and I know there's one somewhere in your direction that I found online, that looked stocked better than the usual LHS. You're movin' quickly there, if you already 'planted' your street lamps. Thumbs Up

Chris - I couldn't tell yet - did you get the 8-ball to w**k (mostly)? (Didn't see it, though) Have you tried putting it in your Photobucket/whoever folder and link from there? How much were you able to do with the football game pics? Thanks for that link to the Uncle Pete equipment photos.Thumbs Up

Now, anybody got some color pics from the 1950's of Rio Grande and ATSF equipment? Well, a guy can hope, right? Wink

Jeff, on your 'doghouse' mod, will that pass inspection for the license next time (or do they look under the hood)? You are one creative guy, though! Bow

Zan, good deal on the Zephyr - at least on the decoders, you can pace yourself with having those done (after the first one). You might check if there's a local MRR club and contact them; could be someone there who would be willing to do the installs (and might even be who the LHS has do theirs...). Whistling Best wishes on getting a better price on those installs. Or, how far away would one of our DCC-experienced Diners be? Maybe you could arrange something there that might be within your  budget better.

Todd, was that floor at your place or your Mom's? I know you've mentioned jobs at both places before. Hey, thanks for the photos of your layout - makes it (somewhat) easier to visualize what you talked about earlier. Confused Like your elevator there. Thumbs Up

Barry, are you off-call come Monday morning, or does yours go all the way through the weekend? Hopefully, you'll be off by Monday and somebody else gets to cover that. Yeah

Ulrich, your visit through the forest sounds like an enjoyable outing for the day. Make sure on your Renault to have everything checked in the last few months before your warranty runs out. If you go to Tanzania, will you ship the Renault, or look to buy something there? Or will they provide your vehicle?

Garry, that 'redneck' truck looks like it'd do a good job of keeping the rain and snow off the windshield. Laugh Also, I was trying to picture where on your layout that new addition with the train station was (I'm guessing either inside the entrance ahead, or to the right...).  And a  HAPPY ANNIVERSARY  to you and Shelley - how long has she been dealing with you? (Er, I mean... Whistling)

Galaxy, sounds like a worthwhile trip to Steamtown for you, even if they didn't have everything done that they'd expected. Yeah, I'm not sure I'd want to stand in those DWorld lines - and I don't have back problems. Think I'm satsified with smaller places and they don't have to be the big name ones, either. Yeah

Didn't meet up with my buddy Mark last night. Finally reached him about an hour (plus) later (while I was still at his house) than we'd planned to meet. He had a chance to just w**k on his job an hour longer and then not have to come back on Sunday. So we'll figure out something for another time.

This morning, I missed early church (neglected to set the alarm last night due to coming home at almost 9, and then fixing a late dinner). So went a little early for 11:00 service, and it seemed odd that I was meeting several cars heading out already. Turned out service ran shorter than usual, 'cause our pastor had something come up that he had to leave and tend to today - but he wanted to finish the "Prepare to Be Blessed" message series he was doing. So, he videotaped the message so things wouldn't get thrown off a week. (The link is to the earlier MP3's in the series, for listening, if interested)

This afternoon, I w**ked on THAT transfer warehouse (Walthers modular one they had in a sale flyer a ways back). Thought I got the two long walls (and end walls) done:

But when I went to move the two sections to take another photo, the two section on the right front end came apart. Bang Head I decided to wait for another day to fix that...

I also renumbered two of three D&RGW boxcars that I had (which had the same number before I did that):

Found that the Solvaset softens up the decals a bit - had two decals come apart when I was positioning them. Think I fixed it where only one of the mishaps is noticeable. But I now have different numbers on them, which I like. (See? I told you I was easier to please...)Smile, Wink & Grin

Well, need to do some thinking about exactly what I need (vs. what I want or might impulsively buy) for the layout, so I'll be at the corner booth, thinkin' Zzz Huh? Oh, sorry there...

Blessings,

Jim in Cape Girardeau

I am struck by a bad case of insomnia again. I am doggone tired, but just can´t go to sleep.

Flo, how about some hot milk, with a spoonful of honey in it? Used to work when I was a small boy.

Jim - shipping the Renault to Tanzania would cost more than the value of the car - so it will have to go, should Petra and I get the job. To my knowledge, they have a number of 4WD cars down there.

Garry - Happy Anniversary!

Well, I shall give it one more try to catch some sleep.

Best of luck Urlich. Hope everything works out for the best.

Well, I hauled those boxes of medical records. No problem loading up, but I caught a tow strap on one side of the torsion bar and snapped the strap. Now I got a short one for tying down the front end of my quad. Big Smile Once on the road, no problems. At the storage area were I had to unload, PROBLEM. The place required an access code to get in and I didn't have that stinking access code. The woman I was with (she drove behind me so I didn't lose anything.) called her boss and got the stinking code after 5 minutes on the phone. Confused Unloaded and drove back home. About 2 hours, two and a half tops, and now waiting for the paycheck from that job. All and all,a nice solid run. Light traffic, no major road problems, and no major equipment failures. So I'm happy.

Midnight special for me. Thanks.

They don't do anything like that here. All they check is the head lights, tail lights, tires, horn, windshield wipers, brake lights and backup lights. They don't look at anything in the vehicle or under the hood.

Safety inspections, gotta love them. Anyone who takes pride in their vehicle would pass it. When you go through Jeff, do they give you that little sticker that says 8-11 or something like that?

Safety inspections, gotta love them. Anyone who takes pride in their vehicle would pass it. When you go through Jeff, do they give you that little sticker that says 8-11 or something like that?

Yep. It's good for one year and has a one month grace period, so you can squeeze 13 months out of one.

Good Evening. Gee, notice the time? Yup, home early. Dr Pepper please. What? Jim got the last one? But tomorrows Labor Day and lots of people will want one. Oh, a tankers coming in late tonight? Ok, I’ll have a jug of Sweet Tea then. No, wait, make it a Mt. Dew Throwback. I like those.

Thanks for the kind words and the encouragement on the layout. I hope to get to it soon. Just taking pictures it was tough to walk out of the room.

Garry- HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!![<:o)]

Jim- The floor is at my Mom’s house. Unfortunately our dining room and Kitchen floor may not be too far off if Brenda gets her way. Luckily I'm too busy right now, but she not only shops for Mom but for her, oops, I mean us.  Mom’s is taking waaaaay longer than planned. The house is rock solid and there is nothing major wrong, just some updating and a lot of little things. I mean a LOT. Like a bazillion holes from nails she had hanging cra….stuff hanging from. If there was space, she hung something there. Plaster coated walls. She’s on a well so all the faucets were limed up and needed replaced and that led to replacing water valves that were stuck and once opened or closed began to leak. Toilets that instead of 12 inches from the rough wall were set at 11 ½. 2 had to be replaced because of the hard water and lack of use. The two that do not, guess what 12 inches. Just a bunch of nickle and dime stuff that is taking a real long time wedged in between w**king.

Well, I think I’ll go sit and relax and enjoy my night off. Then up at it again tomorrow. I must mow since I didn’t get to it today. I hope I can find the shed.

EDIT:

Whoa Garry- Just got back from WPF. Nice Steel Mill!!!

Robby, you keep it up and you should sell out at the show.

I never should have gone to WPF. Now I want to go to the layout even more. ESPECIALLY after seeing the photos of that super detailed layout. Man-O-Man!!

Evenin' folks!

Flo, just a decaf for me tonight.

Actually feel like I accomplished a few things today.  Got about 2/3rds of the lawn done.  First side was very high and i had to go pretty slow through it.  I was surprised by the amount finished before running out of battery power the first time.  I finished the high part tonight and got over half the shorter section done as well on an 80% charge.  I'll get the rest done tomorrow morning if the rain holds off for long enough.

Brought in two large heads of cauliflower and a large bag of green beans.  I will be doing the first canning of the season tomorrow.........  I hope to put up 25 to 30 pints of beans before the first major frost takes them.  Planted some fall lettuce (just to see what happens...), cleaned up a few places out back.

I also did a couple loads of laundry which gave me time to sit and assemble a  Walthers stone conveyor and an old time coal conveyor.

Hope you all have a great one!

Later!

Some really nice stuff this weekend over in the WPF thread.....  Nice Garry, Robby!  I gotta find more time to get some things done.  Unfortunately, getting some things done also involves $$$ I don't want to spend right at the moment.  I do have an order coming in from Caboose Hobbies later in the week...  Should keep me busy for a few days anyway.

Went to start my van earlier today and all I got was a click. So I started checking the usual suspects. Battery connections were clean and tight. starter relay was good. I crawled underneath and there was the three wire plug for the neutral starter switch just hanging. I reconnected it then tried the key again. It kicked right over. Tomorrow I'll be installing the air horn.

Hello folks.   Something caffiene free for me, please...can' sleep, and I don't want to make matters worse.

Jeffrey:  Aspen Coronet, heh.....hmmm.   I wonder if it was actually a Canadian model.  As I recall the Aspen model did not appear in the US until around 1975.

Todd:  Actually, I'm planning on wiring this layout with the intent of being able to use either DC or DCC...Isolating the inner and outer loops of the double track oval into separate blocks, and all sidings as separate blocks.

Reality...an interesting concept with no successful applications, that should always be accompanied by a "Do not try this at home" warning.

Hundreds of years from now, it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove...But the world may be different because I did something so bafflingly crazy that my ruins become a tourist attraction.

"Oooh...ahhhh...that's how this all starts...but then there's running...and screaming..."

Jim:  I wish getting involved in a local club would be an option for me.  My mobility issues make getting out for things like that impractical if not impossible.  My LHS trip is the only time I've been away from the house for other than medical appointments since May.  I would love to meet up with fellow diners, but I'd not impose on them to do work for me unless they were making a business out of the services I'd need.  I suspect in the end I'll just have the F7 A&B units converted now, and deal with the rest down the line.

Well, I'm going to take another shot at sleeping.   Have a good one, all.

I don't know if it was or not. I'm just going by what was on the registration. The DMV (DPS here) goes on what is returned by the VIN number. The marking on the left front fender identified it as a Coronet 440 but there was plenty of evidence that showed the entire front end had been replaced. The right front fender had no such marking and had a small turn indicator light on top. The color of the dash (gray) didn't match the interior color (green) either.

 Good morning.

Not much planned for me today.  Work on a boxcar, and just take it easy.  I did get a letter from the college the other day, and that they accepted me.   I won't start till January thou.

I hope everybody has a good day.

Good morning. It's 71 and sunny. The high will be 93 and there's a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Not much planned for today. Get the laundry done and (if the weather cooperates) install an electronic air horn in my van. Other than that I don't know what I'll be doing today.

Good Morning. Coffee and do…..Surprise Well, Bill’s a quiet guy but when he wants your attention he sure can get it!!! I guess the new outfits for Labor Day are his gift to the girls. Hope Brenda don’t notice the change.Wink

If LA is like Illinoy, there is no telling why they call a model what they do. I had two 1970 Plymouth Roadrunners at one time. Yes they both were real Roadrunner “RM” cars and all the parts were there. However, the titles both came back differently. One came back as Roadrunner, the other (the one I still have) they called a Satellite. Oddly enough, the VIN on the title naturally matches the car, but of the two models made back then the GTX was made on the Satellite platform, the Roadrunner was built on the Belvedere. So it’s really wrong on two fronts. Oh well as long as the VIN matches, it’s mine.

Welp best get going gotta ton of things to do today before getting back to the house.

Here’s your tip girls. Happy Labor Da..…..Oooops! Sorry. I guess I pushed a bit too hard. It fell on the floor, can you get it?Whistling I think it’s under that booth across from me.Stick out tongueEmbarrassed

Y’all have a Great Day now ya hear?!!!

Morning guys,

Chilly one again today. some of you in heat probably wish for the relief but it is a bit too chilly all at once for me. Gotta make sure the furnace runs after the summer's servicing it took. Maybe od that and change the filter and the batteries inthe thermostat later today.

Today is Labor day, So Happy Labor Day  to all those who either work hard every day, or have worked hard in the past and now can't or are retired... TO those who don't work but will in the future...enjoy your day too.

MAy not see you for a few days somewhere along the lines as the computer is making funny noises so I think the fan is going and may just die so have to make some kind of arrangements to get it fixed.

I feel better than I did yesterday though I am far from well. Last night aobut 9 pm while in bed my fever broke. hopefully it doesn't return.

Well that is about all. will let my other half on the 'puter before she overheats now I think.

Got some cleaning up to do and some laundry. Run a few errands. Today is like any other day to me except certain offices are closed and the mail doesn't run.
