Terry beat me to to by a minute fo rthe WPF, so I will delete mine and re-post here....
Everyone must have exhausted themselves with the big WPF last week , so I will give it a start with an older photo. This gravel loader and conveyor is located above Greenvale on the right of way of an abandoned branch line.

Hello everyone its been a long time since I posted a pic here on the forums and this is the best place to do it. I have put some scenery on my layout for the first time ever. There are some touch ups to do but im happy with the results. Here is a pic of my BN ore train climbing the grade.

cudaken; very nice photo work. The y6b caught my eye as well the J . The flat face of the Y really brought out detail.Who is the manufacture of those engines?? Are they still available ?? 60 + yrs. past I saw many A's and Y6bs on the Portsmouth to columbus coal drag. I'm starting my N&W coal and freight RR . Thanks for the pics. Respectfully, Jim

Ah, the weekend and my favorite thread!
What a great start! So many outstanding photos of great layouts! I have just been continuing with the engine house I have been scratch building. Haven't had much time to work on it the last couple of weeks.
Here is the last main wall complete with 2 x 6 studing. The walls will from time to time have to carry some major weight when the crew does repairs on the old shay that works this area on the mountain so it is sturdy!
Walls have been assembled and a new base placed under it.

Jim, thank you for the kind words about the photo and engines. Class J is by BLI and is a original Paragon using a QSI decoder. Y6 b is also by BLI and is a PCM version. Detailing of the Y6 b is the best I have seen to date on any engine (not that I have looked that much at brass engines) it is die cast and pulls like a bear. It has pulled 70 cars up a 1.2% grade, on flat track I am pretty sure it would pull over 100 cars with no traction tires. It has a Loksound 3.5 decoder and slow speed is unreal. They are no longer made, but I pretty sure BLI used the same casting to make there Paragon 2 offering.
Sure wish I could have see real ones run, but I have seen some good videos on U Tube.

Don't worry Joe, you will figure it out. Sometimes just playing with the color and contrast will help. Hope you don't mind but I played with it some.
