WOW!  Great start already and it's only noon on Friday!

I have been working on a scratch built backwoods style engine house.  So far I have drawn out what I want to build (been changed 3 times so far...) and started to build it from the ground up.

Here is what I have accomplished so far (I have decided this one will be and experiment with a, hopefully, much better one for contest later).  It will have to be removable so the floor has to be built in sections.

Flooring is made of scale 1"x 4"x 8'  lumber that has been "weathered" with an India Ink/Alcohol wash.

We'll get there sooner or later!

Here are a few more cars I have recently finished assembling, painted and decaled.

This is either a Eastern Car Works or E&B Valley car with Microscale Decals.

This is either a Eastern Car Works or E&B Valley car with Champ Decals.

This is an Eastern Car Works Car Kit with Herald King Decals.

 Thanks for looking

Finally I got some stairs leading up the ridge to the section foreman's house.  The steps were purchased and I built a small platform about half way up.  Guess I gotta get some handrails in place now.

MABruce and Gerry, great shots. Bruce, I love your reeds, they look great.

I haven't done much, but I've been working on weathing this Walthers van. Not quite done yet, but it's coming along.

I'm trying to model 1956, not live in it.

Nice work Terry and MAbruce !!!!!!!  It looks like coal trains are busy helping utilities replenish stockpiles from the cold winter season.

Here are shots on my branch line. First is an overview of a short train. Secon is a zoomed in shot of the locomotive.
