I'm in the process of building my first MRR in about 30 years. N-scale of the Reading in Anthracite coal country. I've been building the benchwork for about a month now. I get little time to work on it. It's going to be a wall mounted shelf unit about 10' long and 24" wide with an L section about 3' long. In addition to building the benchwork, I've been collecting rolling stock etc from Ebay and locally. I've purchased a few engines, a string of hoppers, and 3 MRC power packs. I also early on purchased a great selection of Kato Unitrak. I hope to fini***he basic benchwork in the next few days. Then the next move will be puchasing some Pink Foam and some scenic designs incline sets. I'll post pictures in the near future. Thanks, Dave

[:D][:D]Playing with custom decals this week. [:D][:D]
I've got 3 brass caboose kits I plan to start next week. Going to try to assembly line build them, thinking this may save me time in the long run.[%-)]
We'll see!

Kudos Old Man!!!
Looks like I could learn a trick or two, three, four, etc.......... from you.

Nice detailing, I wouldn't mind seeing more scenery though !

Keep it coming!

As for me I'm still working on the turntable which should be done in a couple of more months.

Who's working on any projects currently?[?][?][?][?][?][?][?]

I am planning to buy an airbrush sometime, then superdetail my set of Burlington F-3's, buy some undec. cars and paint and letter them, get a few Walthers CB&Q cabooses to superdetail, and come up with a good plan for my new layout, as well as find information to scratchbuild models of a few industries located in Burlington, IA.

I am a very busy guy right now![:D]

BTW, since I'm going to be detailing and weathering quite a few models, whenever my parents decide to get a digital camera I'll post pics of my work.[:D]
