I have not been to this show and ask for the forum's opinion.  Certainly the price is right to get in.  Lot's of vendors?  Any comments ar appreciated.

For the most part it is purely a swap meet.  It is south of Milwaukee and oddly does not promote itself much in Milwaukee itself but aims at the Kenosha/Racine/Northern Illinois market.  They have changed location over the years from a dining establishment to a golf course clubhouse and now I think are back to the lodge.  It has a decent mix of scale model and toy trains; ordinary guys selling off surplus from one table and semi-pro vendors with a few tables.  My experience (as a shopper not a vendor) is that it is somewhat unpredictable how well attended and how many vendors show up -- and sometimes there is a mismatch between the two, in both directions.  I have gotten excellent deals there (HO).

It closes at noon but I have seen guys pack up as early as 11.

It is not huge like Dupage, nor even as large as the main building of DuPage.  Maybe as large as the secondary building at DuPage.

EDITED POST: well this is odd.  This website's directory of train shows shows the Tri City as February 7 (this Sunday) but there are TWO entries for it: one at the Roma Lodge which is east of the freeway, and the other at the South Hills golf course which is right off the freeway.  They used to be at Roma Lodge years ago, then moved to South Hills, and I had heard they were moving back to Roma Lodge.  They can't be in two places at the same time!  I suggest verifying with the contact shown Ron Solberg, (262) 488-0193 before starting out just so you know where you are headed.  My guess is Roma Lodge.

Dave,

I got a phone call today from the guy who runs it.  The Roma Lodge location is correct.  The South Hills golf course location that this website also shows is outdated and not correct.

It is an inexpensive swap meet to go to so even though not a huge meet, it is fairly priced in my opinion.  I may go there even though there is nothing I need to buy.
