wirinf n scale minitrix double slip switch
Posted by kato816 on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 12:03 PM

I have a N scale minitrix double slip switch. I misplaced the instructions on how to wire. I have three wires, green, yellow and white coming from the switch. Can anyone help me with the wiring to the switch machine? Thanks.

If you have a KATO system still running.

The KATO crossover track (KATO 20-221) works perfectly if current is applied to BOTH sides of the double crossover switch  Blue wire to blue wire/White wire to white wire.. works on both DC or DCC with no problem. Current connections must be on both sides at same time in order to work.

Ive been working on your Minitrix and they say to call them

If I remember correctly, the white wire is common to both coils.  It should not hurt anything if you clipped one of your power wires to the white wire and then briefly touch the other power wire to the yellow or green wire.  If the white is common, the switch should change.
