Great stuff again so far this weekend guys, really good stuff to get my butt kicked into doing stuff again. Since the new home layout is still pink foam board and plywood I'll drop off a few club shots again.
A few shots of some switching this week.

Hi All
Have not posted any pics in awhile, recently aquired this Brass "Hallmark Santa Fe CF 7"
This Unit runs well after a wheel cleaning abit loud but really like the look of it,not to familiar on these units but belive these were F7's that were stripped down and a GP wide cab was installed, they deffinatly have a "Bull Dog" look to them.
Nice stuff by all so far, very nice layouts and projects.

Okay, time to update the crew on my Enola Yard extension...
The blue power lineup is indicative of my trend toward being less of a Pennsy modeler and more of a Conrail modeler.
The view from US 11/15... This is my homemade billboard for the Summerdale Diner, a must-stop when railfanning the Harrisburg, PA area.

Nicely done Marc. I want to put one of these on my layout and am Inspired by what you have done.
I see the cost of labour is one muffin per foot of platform.

Hey guys!
I've never posted on WPF before, but I've got quite a bit done in the last few weeks, and I figured I'd try putting something up here for once. I hope you enjoy! There's always great looking stuff on here, and this week is no exception! Keep up the good work everyone!
Okay, so I've got a few things in two scales this week. HO is my preference, but due to space constraints, I'm doing some "temporary" work in N scale while still working on HO equipment.
First, my one bit of HO work for the week...This is the first HO scale locomotive I've painted myself, apart from some stuff for my freelanced railway. It's an Athearn P42, which started life as an Amtrak unit, and after stripping, priming and painting, is now VIA Rail P42 #915. The paint is Testors Chezoom Teal (pearl), and the decals are Microscale:
Next, it's on to N scale. This first bit is the first N scale locomotive I've ever painted, so this weekend is a time for firsts! It's a LifeLike F40PH, formerly an Amtrak unit, which I've painted up with Microscale P42 decals to represent the first of VIA's rebuilds, #6400. Don't worry, I will be replacing the rapido couplers!
The other project of the last few weeks has been a small fleet of VIA Rail Renaissance cars in N. The coaches are all Graham Farish N scale Mk 4 coaches, which I've converted to Renaissance cars with vinyls from Electra Railway Graphics in the UK (http://www.electrarailwaygraphics.co.uk/ <-in their "International" range). So, here we have the full consist first:
Now, individual coaches: First, the baggage car:
Coaches:
And service car:
I've also done a couple of sleepers, but I don't have photos of them at the moment (plus, I don't need them for my Quebec City-Windsor corridor consists).
Well, I think that's enough from me!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
-Tim
Good Morning,
I'll keep it simple this week. Here's one of my recent layout progress along with my new rolling stock (the Walthers 75th Ann. Boxcar, and the Conrail Bay Window Caboose):
Next up is this weekends project, the paving of the MOW parking lot, road, and grade crossing using WS road system:

Nice Terry!
Progress on the SLOW.... Today the Bridge to Nowhere got some more bracing and the track beneath got a few loads of ballast. Actually I did about 4 foot of ballasting track today.

Great start to the weekend folks! This thread is where I get my inspiration....... (Well one of many places actually, but still a great place for ideas!)
I have been gradually working on the scenery and trackage on the logging pike on the middle peninsula on the SLOW. I needed to extend the track for the logging road, and the only place it could go was into mid air. The line goes by trestle from Bare Mountain to a place called Nowhere, NY which is the next ridge over from Bare Mountain..... So here is the start of the "Bridge to Nowhere".
I'll be working on it this weekend (hopefully) and will try to report progress as it is done........ Oh, BTW, the the trestle pole are actually straight up and down..... Strange effects from the camera lense.
Here's a new video from me, chasing White River Southern local LE-2 over the railroad including local switching. As usual, I dubbed sound into the video.
Chasing WRS LE-2 (1/1/10)
Enjoy!
At a local restaurant, I saw some pictures from a local artist:
I also went Geocaching with my family. This cache led us right next to the UTA commuter line in SL. My sister waved as the train went by.
On the "other side of the tracks" I saw these memorials. Sandy's first street car.
And Sandy's first Railroad.
A very long time ago, I had a disaster with a wooden kit. A wall broke. Today, I got it out, repaired it, and made it "abandoned." I broke a window, crushed the wall, and peeled the roof.
Well, this is all I have today. Great job everyone. Rick, good job on the kits. Jarrel, as always, astounding pictures. Jeffrey, congrats on saving the box car. Garry, wonderful layout. Chuck, good job with Bridgeman and son fuel. Robby, I really like how you layout is coming along, dont give up! Scarpia, love the loco and the photo. Fritz, good tichy kit. Marc, Spectacular icing station. Colesdad, keep getting your feet wet! It looks great! Grampy, Another amazing photo!

This is something I have been working on. I haven't posted much here. Just getting my feet wet.
Very nice work, all.

I really like the work done on the icing platform and the boxcar weathered with watercolor pencils. That's a technique I'll have to try one day. Below is my Central of Georgia RS-3 under the yards sand tower.
The engine is an HO scale Atlas model, if you couldn't tell by the handrails...

Marcus .... I like the improved Walthers icing station.
Fritz .... nice bxcar and yard scene
Scarpia ... I bet that S2 sounds as good as it looks.
Chuck ... the coal and fuel oil building looks real.
I have assembled and painted a GN piggyback trailer I made from an old Ulrich Models kit. Also, I have completed an FT AB set. This will be half of an ABBA set. The second AB set is under construction now. These are Stewart models, and I made my FT's to appear like the Burlington's upon delivery in 1944. The A and B units couple a correct scale 2 feet apart. I installed American Limited diaphragms. It runs very smoothly.

Hi Gramrr,
Nice work too and thanks for your answer about the icing platform.
Marc
I've got nothing as good as what you folks have posted. Marc - that icing platform is awesome! I did find a kitbash that I had built for my step dad when he was still alive. It's been bashed from an old lumber yard storage rack - I believe it was an old Suydam kit but not sure anymore.
