Springfield, VA by way of Wiesbaden, Germany; Ashland, OH (about an hour south of Cleveland); and born and raised in Baltimore, MD.
I think my upbringing in Baltimore definitely contributed to my model train interest. My time in Germany has got me hankering to do a layout of the Rhine river valley, but I don't have the space for that right now.

Y.J. - did you think it's a small world when you posted everything about Hennepin? This is Nic, one of the owners of Hennepin Marine. I'm sure you would probably know me if you saw me. If you fish the AYA this year, make sure you find me and say hi. Thanks for fishing the AYA with us and hope to see you this year! We are opening up registrations this week!
Back to railroading - do you have a layout? What gauge do you run? I have a small HO layout that I am looking/working on expanding to a larger one.
