Lets see...............
I hope to get some 50' Railbox's. Just love them!!! Maybe some buildings. I need them. The problem with all of that is...........My wife would let me pick them out rather she gets the wrong thing. Which is fine.
Our wedding anniversary is a week after christmas, and I hope to get my "model railroader" renewed. I stopped it about a year ago, but look at it every month at a book store.
"Rust, whats not to love?"
Only one wish for me, a second run of Blackstone HOn3 K27's.
Robby P.Our wedding anniversary is a week after christmas,
First and foremost peace to the entire world, jobs for all those who want them and support for all of our troops .
OK now to the relatively unimportant stuff:
Engine: Galloping Goose
Car: any malted beverage billboard reefer
Structure: Woodland Scenics new built up Firehouse
Merry Christmas to all and a very Happy and Properous New Year.
shayfan84325 One of Linn Westcott's columns was about how our hobby could be a prototype for world peace, because we model railroaders are so good at problem solving and getting along.

Oh, really? After reading the thread about MRR Club Philosophies, I kinda wonder.
Anyway, my list:
1. Locomotive: A pair of BLI Baldwin Centipedes. (MU'd, they'd be considered one locomotive, right?)
2. Rolling stock: Walthers NYC observation Hickory Creek
3. Structure: Walthers Hulett Ore Unloader.

Just be glad you don't have to press "2" for English.

Hi Again !
I've already posted my "wish list", but thought I'd pass along some advice - although probably most of you already have it figured out...........
Starting when I had Lionel trains in the '50s, I realized that my parents and aunts/uncles wanted to buy me train stuff but just didn't have a clue. And that same situation has followed me ever since.
Now I've always felt that if you are going to buy a loved one a gift, make it something they want - or at least need. But lets face it folks, most of our loved ones just have no idea what would make us happy "trainwise".
Soooo, for the last 55 years or so, about a month before Christmas, I'd put together a wish list - with item number, description, seller, and probable price, and then pass it on to my Mom or wife or girlfriend. There would always be more on the list than I knew I would get, in order to allow for a surprise factor, and of course availability.
In my situation, it really worked out well. I was somewhat surprised on Christmas morning, my loved ones knew they were getting me something I wanted, and all was well!
By the way, in the '60s - '70s, my favorite presents were Athearn BB kits and packages of KDs.
Hey, for what its worth........

I was going to ask Santa for one of the new MTL heavyweight RPOs. My brother and his wife live in a city with hobby shops. The RPO is not in Santa Fe yet but who kjnows when MTL will bring it out or how long it will be around. I got out my Santa Fe Head End Cars and found that the MTL car is not quite like the Santa Fe heavyweights. Great looking model, probably close enough for me. Then I checked my Quarter Century of Santa Fe Consists and found no full RPOs ran in the train I want to model. I think I will not put Santa on this hook.
However I am going to ask Santa for a couple bottles of Delta Ceramcoat craft paint in "deep river green". I have adopted that as the standard color for my bay water backgrounds, and water surface...
need some for touchup and my local Michael's has run out of that one color. Don't know when they will get it. Two other differentr brand stores in town have Delta Ceramcoat but somehow the colors are different, the catalog number on the bottles in different, they don't have anything that is written like or looks like deep river green. There is a Michael's store about a mile and a half from my relatives' house...
On30 rolling stock to suit, water and coaling tower and the Loco/caboose is already coming.
As far as the holidays go, this is a rather quiet one this year. One of our Shops hold a special sale and we are building up for it with a sort of a warchest for Christmas eve.
BATMAN Okay you are allowed one loco, one piece of rolling stock and one structure. What's it going to be???? For me. 1. A nice C.P.R. steam loco. A mikado or Pacific. Maybe something from Division point. 2. A heavywieght C.P.R baggage car or coach. 3. A really nice grain elevator kit. WHO'S NEXT

WHO'S NEXT
Well, what I really need is a job...... been laid off since June of this year and it is really starting to suck.
Since I'm too old to believe in Santa Clause I know this will only be a wish list but:
1.) a small steam engine maybe a two truck shay.
2.) Not sure of the company but one of those really cool beer advertising box cars, the company has several of the local and regional beer companies represented from across the country.
3.) one of those really cool downtown deco kits
Tom
In addition to peace on earth and a job to make a living, there is this Railmaster kit of a Sn3 WP & Y RR I have fallen in love with. Put it on my Christmas wish list, maybe Santa reads this.
Unless I rob a bank there is no chance to collect the 575 $ they are asking for the kit ...
Well this year for the holiday, I have high hopes for good RR stuff. My wife, sister in law, father in law and my mother all asked for wish lists MRR related.. Its too bad my "wish" list and the list they got aren't the same....
My "wish" list would be any shay, 2 or 3 truck... A whole pile of log cars, and the mccabe lumber co. sawmill. And the digitrax zephyr w/extra wireless remote.
The list the family got includes the log cars, freight car kits, couplers, metal wheel sets, paints and powders, static grass, ground foam... Mostly all you need under 20 bucks.. There should be a lot of stocking stuffers..
Merry Christmas everyone!!! Have a safe holiday.
Well starting out again in Model RR'ing, so I would take anything right now.
But if I had to choose it would be
1. BLI Paragon2 CSX with DCC and Sound
2. Freight cars
3. Engine Shed
STEAM LOCO: a winning Powerball ticket;
ROLLING STOCK: a winning Powerball ticket; and
STRUCTURE: a winning Powerball ticket.
You probably realize by this time that without a winning Powerball ticket it is a lost cause to be wishing for anything.
