I got rid of the three Walthers cars and the have rec'd the Overland ATSF Dome 60. I'm thinking of selling off my Coach Yard SP cars and just keeping the ATSF/BN and UP equipment. I'm also thinking of disposing of the Kato business car

Although KCS went out of the passenger business in 1971 and I model 1981 I have a Southern Belle consist:
Passenger Power (KCS Southern Belle paint): E8 A-A (Proto 2000) and E6 A-A (Proto 2000) and Eire Built A-B-A (Proto 1000) I am working on geting a set of F7s or F3s in the Passenger Southern Bell paint; probably Athern.
Passenger Fleet: (KCS Southern Belle Paint): Pullman Baggage; RPO; Smooth Side Pullman Chair Car (2); Heavy Weight Dinner; Pullman Smooth Side Sleeper (2); Pullman Smooth Side Observation. (All Rivirossi)
Business Car: Kay See (Brass Hallmark Models) I don't run this on the layout yet as I can't afford for this one to take a trip into the canyon! Maybe when the layout is completed.
A lot of KCS Southern Bell Train Sets have a Dome Car, however KCS never owned any dome cars.

I might have mentioned this before, but it seems that the older HO 85ft. streamlined passenger cars the corrugation pattern on the car sides is reversed. I noticed this when I put one next to my Rivorossi Budds.
Anyway, I sold my last Con Cor passenger car. I'm proceeding to "fix up" my 85ft. Rivorossi passenger car's and am going to only purchase Walthers Budds in the future.
"I like my Pullman Standards & Budds in Stainless Steel flavors, thank you!"

QUOTE: Originally posted by dothinker Antonio, I just happened to have such a pic: That's an Athearn baggage, Walthers rpo, and some Branchline coaches and sleeper. Thinking of adding a BCW horse car to this train, and / or a Bachmann combine. Another Branchline 80ft coach, 2-tone grey is on it's way to replace the sleeper in the picture, which in turn will join another NYC consist, a long distance one, with mixed heavyweight / lightweight and corrugated / smoothside cars. I'm VERY enthusiastic about the Branchline heavyweight kits, they're easy to build and & look better than the Walthers heavyweights. Only thing is, I still havent found glue strong enough to secure the underbody parts for once & for all.
QUOTE: Originally posted by CP5415 Antonio, how are ConCor's passenger cars? Are they decent runners or do they need some fine tuning like IHC's? "Gordon
It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
