Normally I don't create threads like this, but I think this merits sharing. This has got to be the most wacko----uh I mean "unusual" kitbash I've ever seen!

1. So, would the prime mover be inside?
2. What would you call it???? "Cramtrak"?
3. Looks like something that the penguins from the "Madegascar" movie would put together.
"I like my Pullman Standards & Budds in Stainless Steel flavors, thank you!"
Wow! A lot of effort went into that, and some thought.

My thoughts exactly!

I doubt it will be gone anytime soon except maybe the dumpster. I can't believe the junk I see on that auction place.

Thats just wrong on so many levels, like the aftermath of a bad train wreck. I saw a coupled together engine at the Timonium show a few years a go that a guy was tryinng to sell. It was 3 or 4 SD70's put together. It may have looked some what believeable if he had bothered to line up all the seems etc. but it did generate a lot of interest from the crowd.
sickness will surely take the mind where minds can not usually go.

MILW-RODR CPRail modeler What the... That is wierd. I wonder what the person was thinking when they did this. He was probably thinking "Hey! I wonder what the penguins from Madagascar would do with all this stuff!?!?!?" Even after that movie I still like penguins. My favorite penguin themed movie scene involves Jessica Alba and a pair of pink pantys but, I wanna get it G rated and I think that movie was PG13. Not to mention I can't think of the tittle
Good luck chuck would be the name of the movie you speak of.
alco's forever!!!!! Majoring in HO scale Minorig in O scale:)

Clearly, the seller has this lot priced way too high, but at least he admits (at the bottom of the listing) that it is junk and probably only good for parts. Based on some listings I have seen from sellers that are either poorly informed or outright swindlers, I wouldn't have been surprised to see this lot listed as "vintage", "custom", "hand built", "rare", etc . . . with a price twice as high!
A.... well a late model "Doodlebug"?
That's just plain "wrong"........
And I bet someone will buy it....

I love it man, those are FUN to create. I've made a few, though they weren't powered. It's fun to jsut create a watchamacallit once in a while and let your imagination take over the build. And in the end it looks cool as heck.

Actually, 74 is about right for the three Veiwliners, and the stoarage car, let alone the articulated superliner

Not unless the prime mover was some kind of horizontally opposed engine---and that the sleeper component was on another car.
