Not good here seems that I have a unauthorized charge to my debit card on my one account for $7.45 from williams trains I othrized $30.00 ($25.00 for train car + $5.00 for shipping) then 2 days later the other showed up hmmmm looks a little funny to me.

And my other account (different bank) there seems to be a $50.00 charge I know nothin about . Not my morning so far and of coarse williams trains , and both banks are closed today.

Been a rough morning this morning. We had big time storms last night and that always makes my phone ring off the hook. See, I'm the head of the trouble department at the phone company. Storms are a bad thing for my sanity. I hate storms!

Did you see that storm that passed right through Indianapolis last night? That was ugly! It flooded out I65 to the point where they closed the highways going through the downtown section. The phone company lost the entire grid downtown too. 100,000 customers without phones and I was basically up all night. Most of it is fixed now. We're just cleaning up a few loose ends.

Well, gotta run! haven't had my quiet time to say prayers for all of you yet, but I will soon.

Good morning from Mississippi. It's nice out this morning, but it will give way to a hot day with temps in the 80's. I need to mow grass today, but not sure if I will. I have a photo shoot this afternoon and need to be ready for that.

Hope everyone is well, RT, hate to hear about the bogus charges on your CC. That stinks. Good luck on getting it solved. The CC companies will take care of you.... but it takes a lot of work and patience on your part.

I opened the paper this morning and saw a obit for a friend that I used to fly R/C planes and Helicopters with. He was 34 years old. Bad news, Sad news. Too young. Not sure what happened, as I sort of lost contact with him over a year ago. Last time I saw him, I bought a Century Airwolf Helicopter kit from him. I have since built, flown and sold it.

PC , I was kinda tracking the storms. The local CBS station out of Terre Haute,Ind does better weather coverage over your way than on the ILL. side and we're closer.
You folks up there has had a rough couple weeks of it. there's more forcast for tonight and tomorrow here, but so far the worst has gone North or south off us. Hope our luck holds out

Seen a new one on the BNSF at Grand crossing last night. They have been putting one unit up front with one in the rear for the last year now on all ore & coal trains. But last night was the first time that I saw them do it on a reg. freight, and it was a montser.
Grand Crossing has been really busy lately, even the CP rail has been busy. If you like stack trains, I myself like to see the mixed stuff boxcars, tanks,etc.

I’ve been thinking (always dangerous [:o)]) about how to do my yards. I’ve some ceiling spackle, and wondered if I mixed in some filler, like sifted wood ash, and thickened the whole mess (sorry Fergie [:P] with latex paint of a suitable colour, if that might make a paste to trowel on over the foam board. I’ve got details from a site where this mmr used tile grout and sand. I priced the grout today and came away white and shaking.[xx(]

Good afternoon gents, it finally cleared here about noontime, it had been foggy and showery early this morning, now it is spectacular dark blue sky, temp is 71, very windy.

The pics of all those doughnuts in the CS is driving me crazy ( not too far to go either ), I want to get up and go get something to eat every time I see the pics....STOP IT !!! I'm trying to keep my weight at 185 doggone it !!

Looks like Easter Sunday is going to be a sunny day here in this area, that will be nice for change, we have had our share of lousy weather on Easter Sundays in the past.

Happy Easter (almost) everyone!

Paul: It's an Elston, they've made genuine Gopher-Getter products forever, this one's been there and back alright, we had to put a new seed tube, cutter bar, and tunnel tube on it a couple years back when they all wore out, along with several points over the years, but the rest of it just keep on ticking. It's not a 3-point mount, those tend to not make as good of a tunnel as the ones with wheels do. It's really pretty effective if you use it right, this new seed has some sweet smell added to it to attract the gophers better, the last stuff we had was oat groats with zinc-phosphate on them, that's bad stuff, and you can't carry it in the cab with you. The stuff we used to use and we have now is milo with strychnine on it, but we couldn't get that for a few years because the only place in the world with people dumb enough to make strycnine was Afghanistan, and the plant was blown up. It started becoming available again last year.

Worked outside most the day, well work, some set more. Progress on the yard is being made , slowly. Mothers on her way home from Spring field, had some storms up that way, nothing here yet.

Der , The rail shotts from the back yard is about done till winter. The trees are leafing out quickly now.
Now that I've got mowy going, I can slip down to campground A or over on the Cline crossing , both close to home for the rider

Well, the track cleaner indeed found another turnout it didn't like. Over by the exit from the container dock. Took quite a bit of filing to get the point rail to snug up into the stock rail. Seems to be OK now. I'm about to clean the Timesaver section. With the various trains I have parked on the layout near there, it's quite a session getting down there with the cleaner.[^]

[#welcome] Brett! At least you get to see some trains. I have to wait until we have a trip to town, and then it's very chancy.[V]

morning...wait evening all... i hope the easter bunny brought heaps of chocolate..
i got my mainline laid down, now i just have to trim the passing siding track and then i can run trains the whole 16 feet, then i can finish off the 2 spur tracks and the diamond (dummy interchange) and then the scenery starts [:)] oh by the way, that 16 feet will soon become 24 or 25 feet, with the extension, i will add another 4 or 5 feet of mainline, and then build a small 3 track fiddle yard so i can have point to point operation, the only drawback is my passing siding can only hold a 5 car + 1 loco train, if i extend it another foot tho' i can hold a ten car train. or only run one train each way, stage it and that would allow me to run a 10-12 car train. all dilemmas i will sort out later.

on another note, my SD45T-2 has impressed me so far, and i hope it doesnt get the growling motor. [:(]

Dave, the CP down here has been busy too (And since it's the same line I supose it would be). A friend and I went shooting trains last weekend between Lyndon, and Tunnel City on the CP, and we caught 10 trains from about 7am to 1PM. We're hoping to get over on the BNSF again sometime too, especially over to the spot at Victory, WI with the Cliff in the back ground and all. (This photo actually:http://www.railimages.com/albums/noahhofrichter/afg.jpg ) I really enjoy chasing the BNSF up and down the River, they usually run lots of interesting Power, a good number of trains, and it's beautiful Scenery. I only wish I could get over there more often.

So they are running helpers some too now, huh? Interesting. How frequent are the Ore train on the BNSF down the river anyway? That's something I've been wanting to catch but haven't been able to yet.
