Good Evening All:

When I was first diagnosed with diabeties the max was 136, then it went to 130, then 126, and now 120.

For any of ya'll that aren't watching Atlanta and St. Louis - it's like a high school football game. I can't believe how many touchdowns in such a short time. 7 to 21 at 9:52 in the second quater.

Paul:
I wore the headphones about 2 hours and lo and behold I put them on her and she wore them for about 1 1/2 hours. So their is HOPE.

They just advertised that Paul McCartney is going to entertain at the super bowl halftime. I wonder whose blouse is going to be pulled down?

Well I'm going to watch this slaughter.

Ya'll have a blessed day and remember SANTA FE ALL THE WAY

Looks like this is a job for The Pixelator, faster than a speeding pixel, more powerful than RAM and able to leap tall mother boards without corrupting the harddrive. der5997 you have been chosen for a free painting job, do you accept?

Evening all,

we have company in town, too many hours at work, and a second job where the boss thinks its my first job. Whew, 70 hours weeks are too much, then I get the kids for 4 days while the wife goes to laughlin. Only one more to go.

Mitchell now you are famous and then some. I forgot, did I thank you for the sponge bob job. It was great. Daughter wanted to know if you could do a tinkerbell, did I ask before ? Can't remember now. Thank you for all your hard work.

Gotta go cook dinner. Talk to you all later.

It's now 38-17, and not a very interesting game, unless you like the Falcons. Not me, but then, I like the Pats, and the Colts.

Trolleyboy, I'm in HO, modelling the ATSF in 1989-90. Thanks for picking up the first round, I appreciate it. I first saw the ATSF in Chicago, riding the SW Chief out. Then, in K.C. visiting my oldest son, then in Ca. He's a Marine, so I got to visit my son, Daughter-in-law and grand-daughter, and see my fav r.r.

pesky N scalers huh. I'd be watching what you say trolley or you could find your toes missing from a recent N scaler attack.

To paraphrase a pretty good movie, Midget, "The Cold? you can't handle the cold." It's very cold here, -3F right now. So be happy you're on the opposite side of the world. And my toes are thankful. (Escaping from the Nscale toe cutting knife)

Good evening gents, managed to get the train room all studded this afternoon before heading off to church. Tomorrow I start the rough wiring.

Jim , here is the web site for the trolley museum in Shelburne Falls, Ma, which is on route 2 ( Mohawk Trail) in western, Ma. http://www.sftm.org/ There is also a trolley museum in CT and one in Maine on route 1 near Wells, Maine. Is there anything in particular that you are looking for?

As for head cold, I never had a fever, so no need to sweat it out, however, a doctor told me to take a shower as hot as I could handle it. Apparently this gets the immune system kicked into high gear. It seems to be working as the sneezing has halted as well as the nasal waterfall.

Bob type 2 Diabetes can be controlled much better today then in years past. Diet is of prime importance. My father's side of the family all had Diabetes by age 50, they also all weighed over 230 lbs when it started. My uncle lost his legs at age 52 and died at age 63. My father lost weight from 245 to 175 at age 50, and lived to age 88 before it took him down with legs so bad he barely could walk, however, he controlled his Diabetes with pills and diet, and led a very active , normal retired life. I represent the first generation not to get Diabetes by age 50, I am now 65 ( 66 on Jan 26th ) and Glucose readings are <75. The main controlling factor? Weight. When I hit 212 just before I retired at 62, I exercised ( active in yard and house ), ate low fat foods, and in 1 year had my weight down to 175. You can do it buddy, too much depends on it!!

The strong coffee really does make a good aging fluid, I think we should bottle it make some $$ on this product.

Mitchell you are a talented young man for 13, you will have a very bright future, hold onto your dreams, never give up, learn from every failure, and remember...attitude + behavior = performance

Time to turn in guys, 19F right now in central ma hills, it is a two dog night....see you all tomorrow, God Bless you all, bon soir !

***
Dick If you do what you always did, you'll get what you always got!! Learn from the mistakes of others, trust me........you can't live long enough to make all the mistakes yourself, I tried !! wt259; Welcome aboard. I'm also in HO. I model an iron ore hauling railroad in the Upper Penninsula of Michagan. If you are modeling ATSF you need to get to know Teffy. He also models Sana Flush.

You guys are sure a prolific lot. I checked in breifly at 6pm and now at 10:30 you all have added two more pages.

Teffy; My sugar jumps around some to. It will be 90 to 110 and than for no apparant reason it will take a jump. I try to look more at the avarage over a week or so. My Docs seem to be happy if things are at a low average.

Fergie; Happy Birthday. a day late so I'll by the donut with a candle.

Well I guess I'll hit the sack. I've got to go to work on Mary Ann's tractor tomorrow. I was plowing that 15 acres and hit a tree limb with the exhaust stack. It broke at the manafold. So now I've got to take the hood off and straighten it and hopefully weld the base of the stack. It's not like this hasen't happened before. I've done it two or three times and Mary Ann has done it a couple of times. At least she can't get too mad at me.
