der the GP30s are gray, which would easily be covered by CGW colors, but the gray is pretty shiny.. maybe I should primer them?

here in the midwest, lunch is anywhere from 11AM to 1PM, dinner / supper is around 6PM.

Fergie Bachmann Steamers can be quite a hassle. I need to contact B-man and see if they will send me a new wheelset for the third driving axle on my 2-8-0 as the gear has stripped off. That's a major problem for my RR because the perfect weather would be great for a steam excursion but my only steamer is in pieces because of a 'gear failure'.[:(]. But maybe in a month or 2 I will get an IHC 4-6-2 or 4-6-4[swg]

DER , I still have trouble with the zoom on our Kodak camera. Part of it is that I can't see the view screen outside very well. Good luck with it, I'm sure you get it mastered

Not good! I had the same problem and ordered a replacement gear through NWSL. When I tried to put it on I slipped and snapped a side rod. Called Bachmann and ordered a new wheel assembly. They sent me the wrong one so I sent the whole loco back to them (It was several years old). Waited a couple of months then called. They scratched their heads then realized the had put it on the wrong shelf for servicing then realized it was first generation and had no parts for it[:(]
So they sent me a new one... for free[:D]

Well it's a rain day here so I'll help clean the house then disapear into the depths.

I bought a Paasche H, badger 150, and a paasche air compressor for $120. I also got a heavy tip for the badger 150. It came with a hose for the Paasche but not for the badger. I also got nine jars. MS Word question. How do I re-set the page template? (Normal?) My defaults have disappeared after a dialogue box told me something I didn’t understand about “Normal” having been saved, or not. I clicked “Cancel” and it popped right back up. Wouldn’t go away until I clicked “OK”. Now, my defaults are gone, and I’m stuck with Word’s default settings for each page.[banghead]

Have to get more firewood in, but it’s raining, so it will be just one basket to see us through.

I have that problem with my Kodak too. What I do is just use the viewfinder window (like we used to do before they invented screens). That's the easy fix. And requires no manual reading.

I'd guess your problem could be not selecting 'macro' mode. Does the camera have a dial that selects modes? Should be one that has an icon of a flower. That's usually the macro (close-up) mode. You can't get there just with the zoom, it needs to close-focus.

Well, I had started a nice long post. As I was typing along, I had to go to another ' internet window' to make sure I had the right info before I posted it. Well to make a long story short, As I was going along, that 2nd window disappeared and went to using the one that had my nice long, almost completed post in it and I lost it all!

I was at walmart today for a new wiper blade. went to the toy dept and figured out that with my current diecast car & truck collection, that the John Deere 1:64th construction equipment they have would be just fine to use on my layout as most who come to visit would not notice the scale difference. Also, I discovered they have another line of diecast cars. All they offered in this line - Malibu International Toys - were 1:87th scale sports cars, both classics and modern for, get this... $1.97! I thinks me needs to buy stock in Wal-Mart as I could spend lots of ca***here on just these things alone!

Well all, I'm going to go. I'll put the rest of the post out tomorrow as I just made a cake and need to frost it and cover it before the cat gets into it.

Fergie: Where do you plan on putting the extra weight? I haven't tried to do anything with my 2-10-2 yet or my 2-8-0 ether. No MRRing today, we spent another day cleaning up the yard. Three more loads of tree limbs. We also went and looked at dump trailers for ourselfs. $5675 and its ours. That is a 14 footer with 7000lb axles and a 3 way tail gate. It's alot to spend but I'll have the feel alot better than using one I borrowed.

Right now it's time for bed. Tomorrow is a workday. So I need to hit the sack. My best to all and a very Happy Easter.

Went in to the regular doc's today and found out I didn't have a heart attack, bad part is he doen't think my lungs will ever fully recover. All the damage over the years is catching up. I'll be Ok, just short winded. Meet with the heart doc next Thursday

Got some more done outside. Getting close to having the worst of it cleaned up. Still have a long way to go though.

Storms are moving through IND tonight, hope PC fares OK, looks like one may have been close to him on radar

Hey guys, how's it goin?

Been a busy day, actually a busy couple of days. Seems like everything is piling up all at once, hate it when that happens. I've been out running the gopher getter, covered about 60 acres today. Dad was running it the other day, and the dog was out on patrol like she always is, until she came wandering up to the tractor pretty slowly, then he saw some blood on her belly, and so he killed the tractor real quick and grabbed her and took her to the vet. She had a cut between her front legs, kind of a V shape about 4 inches each way. It went into the muscle about 1/2 or 3/4 inches deep, so he stitched up the muscle first and then stitched the skin over it. She's gotta go back and get checked up again in ten days, that'll be sometime late next week. We have absolutely no idea what happened to her, we've been looking for something that had blood or hair on it, but haven't found anything yet.

Well, I went digging through the radio station's archives and found y'all a pretty good joke:

A blonde pushes her BMW into a gas station. She tells the mechanic it died. After he works on it for a few minutes, it is idling smoothly. She says, "What's the story?" He replies, "Just crap in the carburetor." She asks, "How often do I have to do that?"

2 AM and can't sleep. It's 80 inside and I'm to cheap to turn the AC on, of course I'd have to take the covers of too. Here's one, just blame it on lack of sleep and time of day

Be sure and cancel your credit cards before you die. This is so priceless,
and so easy to see happening, customer service being what it is today. A
lady died this past January, and Citibank billed her for February and March
for their annual service charges on her credit card, and then added late
fees and interest on the monthly charge. The balance had been $0.00, now is
somewhere around $60.00. A family member placed a call to Citibank:

Family Member: "I am calling to tell you that she died in January."
Bank: "The account was never closed and the late fees and charges still
apply."
Family Member: "Maybe, you should turn it over to collections."
Bank: "Since it is two months past due, it already has been."
Family Member: So, what will they do when they find out she is dead?"
Bank: "Either report her account to the frauds division or report her to the
credit bureau, maybe both!"
Family Member: "Do you think God will be mad at her?"
Bank: "Excuse me?"
Family Member: "Did you just get what I was telling you - the part about her
being dead?"
