This is what I am working on this week. 2 F&C EL Dunmore hoppers, 2 F&C B&O Round Top hoppers and 1 F&C National Plate Glass 2 bay hopper. I should have the NPG hopper on wheels by tonight and the decals on the EL's this afternoon. The two B&O still need some brake rigging work done to them.

I'll get progress pics tomorrow, but here's a shot from a few weeks ago:

Well, I see my favorite site is up and running with more great shots for the weekend. Great work, everyone.
Haven't been on in the past several weeks, but got some running in the past couple of days. Here's a shot of one of my 'never-was' Rio Grande L-140 2-8-8-4's --#3911--hauling an eastbound manifest on the lower of the two bridges over Malakoff Hydraulic Diggings between Deer Creek and Yuba Summit. Immediately following the big loco are some 50' express reefers full of Sierra Kokonie fresh-water salmon. Yummy!

This is what I've been working on lately. I just installed a decoder today after finally finding a motor that wouldn't make a snail look like a torbo charged racer by comparison.

I agree, very good start.
I worked on laying some foam board down on the lower part of the layout. I then used some plaster to fill in the cracks and kinda "feather" the side of the upper layout. Now I have to paint the new parts that touch the upper part.
The last shot kinda gives you the idea of how big my layout is. Also I hate that I didn't take the backdrop all the way around. I was going for a shlef layout but ended up going for this. I guess I will work on that tomorrow.
"Rust, whats not to love?"
It is a very nice start to this Weekend's WPF...thanks Driline! Nice modelling that follows as well.
I haven't posted for a couple of weeks, nothing really new or exciting. Instead, I'll post a new image of a favourite engine of mine, the mighty 2-10-4 J1. Here, the engine is about to rejoin the main after hauling coal hoppers from Sentinel Mines about three miles back along the spur.
For those who travel the Southwest , you may recognize this sign:
Took a photo and made copy of the sign, part of the real sign is missing so it's missing on the model as well.

I guess I'll start off this weekend photo shoot with some pictures I took at my office building. I decided this year to put up a train in one of our windows, and to my amazement, the comments so far have been very positive. Apparently everyone loves trains The train is an HO bachmann spectrum 0-8-2 I purchased many years ago. I decided against my 1947 lionel collection as they are too loud so close to the building secretary's phone bank.
