I don't have much of a layout at the moment, I have a test track using my shelf benchwork concept, and I have posted most of all that on this board, just search my nick.

but, I have set a website for the railroad projects, the CSS&SB module shown has undergone an advance in its work and thats on this forum.

The Allegheny project is on hold at the moment, I bought a built Arbour 2-6-6-6 which runs great convincing me the Arbour can be made to run great so when I continue the project I know I have to be extra careful in its construction.

 Same with the Winton, 50+ year old kit, I think will come together great and run like a champ.

[Oakhurst Railroad Engineer]

With the help of my 21-year-old son, I finally have a website for my current model railroad layout. Check it out!

The Oakhurst Railroad is an HO scale model railroad running through the central Sierra town of Oakhurst, California. Although no real railroad ever ran through Oakhurst, the area is rich in logging and gold mining history and several railroads and logging flumes operated nearby. My parents and brothers used to live and work in Oakhurst and I spent many summers there.

The Oakhurst Railroad is a two level point-to-point railroad with a helix and an optional continuous run.  For operations, trains are put together in the Oakhurst yard and then travel to the logging or mining areas on the upper level.  Logs are taken from Camp 3 or Central Camp to the North Fork sawmill.  Cut lumber and mining ore are taken to Oakhurst for interchange with a Southern Pacific branch line that connects to the mainline in Fresno.  Passenger trains take guests to and from the Yosemite resort in Wawona.

The layout is set in eastern New York State during the autumn of 1941 at the height of fall color in the region. The layout represents a branchline that terminates in the large city of Jacksboro, NY. Steam is just beginning to give way to diesels on the HHRR but the coming of World War II will put a temporary halt to this trend.

 Some nice layouts here but...CNJ your work is fantasmigorical . Truly inspiring.
