quote]You must mean the PBS show called "Tracks Ahead" Narrarated by Tony Perkins! I guess if there was a half hour ,or even and hour TV show of MR Magazine we all would not have to buy the paper copy. It an idea though!

There was a series of videos put out by Kalmbach years ago that show up from time to time on PBS stations. Since they're reruns, its seems to vary by station as to when. At least some of them (maybe all of them) werre done by Alan Keller before he branched off on his own. Watch your local listings, the name seems to vary but is railroad related.
Enjoy

And they could have me on the show to do a special on the Union Pacific: Then and Now. My explaination:......."Well, it's really quite simple. Back then the UP was a cool road with awesome locomotives. Today it's a big yellow monster who preys on any other railroad it can get it's claws on".......................

And Dougal could do a special on Conrail, and CNW on CNW, and Superchieffan on Santa Fe, hmmmmmm, I think we may be on to something here..........

Greetings,

Would it not be nice if Model Railroader had a television show on cable like all those home improvement and cooking shows?

A 30 minute show with layouts, planning, building, painting, scenery, etc.

Have some guy on there like Emirl that would know his stuff about model railroading.

I know I would watch it.

Thoughts?
