I'm trying to do the B & O during the 40's and 50's transition from steam to diesel power. I don't have a particular section of the railroad in mine, such as Sand Patch or Grafton, but will be freelancing. I am considering using Southeastern Ohio as my area, which will give me hills, opportunities for tunnels, and lots of trees.

That's the HO layout. As for the N layout, I haven't decided.

My Model Railroad is called the Allentown Scranton and Northern, a freelanced regional set in modern times in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

P.S. trainboy, keep it up and I can't wait till you get 100 posts! I always enjoy reading your posts.

Just post about your layout and don't be afrad to make it long! mine is a shortline jointly owned by the Katy and Rock Island, it is called the Oklahoma Mexico & Gulf. the era is 1950's and the region is western oklahoma. My layout will be oriented to detail and realisim because it is very small. construction will begin this summer !!!!!
