Don't let the fact you have no scratchbuilding experience deter you. Don't over-think the project. There has got to be a place in your layout plan for a small shack or a sand or gravel dump pened in by some old ties. Think of something modest, small and useful in your scheme. Thats all there is to it.

If you are absolutely stumped for ideas, go through your stash of old magazines for something useful or draw on your railfanning experience. Something will popup, it always does.

Done it but need a LOT more practice. But it is really fun. Made a six stall roundhouse that was fun for about six months. Yes I'm almost done[8D]
