Ok all -

I happen to be on the 'outside looking in' again, so like Ryan said... the report must be inclusive and contain everything! Tongue [:P]

Anyway, not sure what one vendor is going to have, but I was in my LHS yesterday to order a few items and the owner (Bill) was packing up a bunch of things for the show. Stop by the booth for Central Hobby Supply from Syracuse NY. Never know... you just might find something you are looking for!

Take care and enjoy the show!

Hunter - When we met in January of 2000, you were just a 6 week old pup who walked his way into this heart of mine as the only runt in the litter who would come over to me. And today, I sit here and tell you I am sorry we had to put you down. It was the best thing for you and also the right thing to do. May you now rest in peace and comfort. Love, Dad. 8 June 2010

I love you and miss you Mom. Say hi to everyone up there for me. Rest in peace and comfort. Love, John. 29 March 2017

I will be attending with the model RR group from the Boothbay Railway Village. Our booth is in section 15 of the main building. Stop by and say hello.

This is a big fund raiser for the museum's new layout construction. We have quite a few good quality, completed craftsman kits for sale that were donated, but do our fit our new layout design, FSM, Sheepscot, etc. Also lots of locomotives - Kato, Athern, Spectrum, Rivarossi and others, steam and diesel, all have been test run. Lots of PRR locos and rolling stock including 2 complete passenger car sets, one Spectrum and the other Rivarossi. From the original donation, we continue to sell off German (as well as limited numbers of USA, UK and USSR) WWII military vehicles: tanks, half-tracks, other armor and trucks, almost all Roco. We still have a couple Roco German locomotives and passenger cars. All of the above is HO scale. In addition, we have O scale Lionel equipment including trains, transformers, buildings and details.

It is too much to display at one time, so if there is something from above you do not see, ask and we will look for it. Talk to us about quantity discounts. We would rather sell it than pack it up and haul it back to Maine!! Big Smile [:D]Dinner [dinner]

This is a link to an updated set of photos of our layout design and construction:

I met several peoples today, probly a few more tomorrow. The end of the show was most amusing, chasing around Chelsea, trying to get my money back... I won't go into detail but it would have looked very wrong had I made a grab for it...

I had a great time. I left with 3 new locomotive purchases ( 3 Athearn gp38-2's ) and 2 BLMA signal bridges. I spent more than I wanted but it was worth it. I also got BKVP's new movie "Autumn on the D&H", great movie. How did everyone else make out?

Hello I bought just a few things I wanted like two police cars and emergency lights for them.  A couple of Athearn locomotives and two railfan DVDs.  I took many many pictures of the awesome modular layouts and many future models set to be released by Atlas, Athearn and Tower 55.  The new Athearn SD60Ms were on display but in my eyes I felt like I was looking at the SD70M with some very tiny differences.  Then Atlas had some new covered hoppers that looked very nice.  I saw this guy who sells alot of weathered boxcars on Ebay called Lenny HArlos.  His work looked so good in person too.  He was selling the weathered cars for anywhere $60-90 a piece.  Then I went to Overland/Tower 55 and snapped some pictures of the plastic SD75ACe.  It was all silver and looks weird with those square windows.  The worst part about this weekend was the food.  It was very expensive and was not good.  It was all the fatiest foods anyone could imagine.  A soda was a mere $3.50 bottle water was $2.00 and french fries were $3.50.  A soft taco was $6.50.  I spent $15 for lunch one day.  There was some very colorful guys there too.  Some of the weirdest group of men in one place.

Overall the train show was amazing!!   It was very fun and exciting all day long.  I wonder how many people attended the show this year.  Anyone have a number yet??

This was my first visit to this show, when I walked in the main bldg Saturday AM I said to myself "Holy #%&!"  I have no idea how they pull off a show of that magnitude but hat's off to all involved.  Vendors had a great and varied selection, manufactures had a nice presence and the layouts that were there were top notch.

Have to agree with Rommel with some of the folks that attend these shows.  You can meet some great folks at these shows but some are just outright the most rudest, self centered people that I have ever met (and I work with convicts 8 hours a day.)  I never realized that that if you have a power chair you have the right away.  Have twins, please bring your side by side baby carriage with you.  Gonna stretch your arm across my face, please have showered that AM!

The Mallory Complex wasn't that good.  I thought it'd be bigger.  Great show, though.  Spent $90 and none of it went to waste.  Great show thoug, can't wait for next years.

I have only one suggestion, they should have a fried dough stand. But then again, I would blow my money on that.Wink [;)]
