I believe if the powers to be wants to get rid of the STARS, let them. if they want to split up the forum for young and old, that would be foolish, remember these young people are our future, they want to learn just like you did when you were their age. I am a old guy, retired going on 9 years now, and I am still learning. I would welcome a young person telling me what I'm doing wrong.

Dave, we can't have a truce, we were never at war. I was never angry with you or anyone else, I just didn't want to come across as a hypocrite, and posting too soon after my comments, might have given that impresssion. On the other hand, I managed to give the impression that I was pissed off. Ahh, the joys of cyber space.[:D]

I actually had a conversation with Lupo over on his MR product review topic, check it out. That along with my data gathering has given me an overview of how this forum functions. I like data, gathering and processing, so to me, it was fun, and the results were interesting.

One way that some of us manage to get our post counts so high is by trying to engage in a conversation, as if it was a realtime chat room. Though that wasn't the original purpose, WE have adopted that concept, to the extent that we can here.

What would really be great, is some form of instant messaging, but I'm sure the sponsor doesn't want to get involved with that. Beside, they have made provisions to help us with that very thing, its just that most of us don't take advantage of it.

I opened a yahoo account, with my screeen name from here, for just that purpose, but haven't had a chance to use it yet. The regulars should get together somehow.

I'm beginning to think that we have outgrown this posting location, and think that we should consider an "OFFICIAL" location for the fun that we now have here. Has anyone noticed that Bergie has a tool or maybe it is a function called [STICKY]?
I believe the purpose of it is, to keep those item always at the top of page one of the forum. If we asked nicely maybe he would write us a sticky to use the way we use this one now.

I guess if I could have one wish for this topic, it would have to be that we simply stop numbering the posts here. Except for the milestone numbers, it really isn't nacessary.
