Apparently, after 36 one is supposed to drop dead, since we aren't on this poll as an option.

Hmm. Guess I'm overdue.

Well i'm 39 and not dead yet. I hate it when you run out of room on your poll. Maybe should have left out the 0 to 5 range. I dont know many 5 year olds who can type well enough. Joe

I'm 56 - guess I missed my funeral. Probably was busy laying track and didn't notice I had died.

Enjoy

WHAT A HOOT!
Am 56, and it is obvious to me that anyone over 36 must be assumed to be into Model Railroading only to differing degree. From smiling minimally when passing a train display to waiting for the end of the work day to ru***o the basement and your own private world!

The person who created this poll must be a fan of Athern products. ;)

If I count my upcoming birthday as the 7th anniversary of my 36th birthday, am I still alive?????[:D][}:)][}:)]
Maybe I should be using all of these 1x4s to make a caboose shaped coffin instead of a layout!!!!![}:)]

Perhaps you should have used larger age categories--I do see that someone selected "0-5" but I assumed they were joking!

I feel "hurt" that Norboy might overlook us older gentlemen of the craft, you know the wise old sages that youngsters fail to listen to before they make those silly mistakes and then say if only I had listened! Ya those guys !! The impunity[soapbox]

I'm 58, and like Mark Twain, reports of my demise have been greatly exagerated. The last time I checked I was still warm, found a pulse, and am not nearly done having fun!

C'mon, guys/gals, you're only as old as you feel and do! I'm 66 and going strong. Lot's of railroadin' to do before my last run. Gosh, I was doing freight oiling at night during my senior year of high school! Did a whole apprenticeship as a car knocker and found out there was no jobs! So I went to student firing which turned into hosteling before they deleted firemen on the SP. Used to run the big ALCo's through the wash rack at Oakland. Yeah, we actually washed the passenger engines! After that petered out I figured folks always gotta eat, so I spent 30 years in the food plant engineering business...go figure. Retired now and loving it up here in Port Townsend, WA where I am active in 2 model railroad clubs, plus my own Great Northern.
