I'm extremely happy with the scale I'm in (HO), but if tied to a rack by the Inquisition, I'd probably opt for N, simply because in a 24x24 garage, I could do almost ALL of the Sierra Nevada, instead of just a little. The problem would be mainly that I don't know if there are a lot of articulateds in N that would interest me (Rio Grande, SP, Missabe). I could be wrong, and they could be just out there waiting for me to change scales, but since I've got so much invested in my HO equipment, that's just not feasable. But I do like to watch N, for the amount of track and length of trains that one can accommodate in such a small space.

I would like to have one of those ride-on-trains in my backyard. I like G and S alot too, though.

I might do On30 instead of HO or N. I like narrow gauge, so On30 would be an obvious choice.
huh?

Modular railroading at its best!
If it has an X in it, it sucks! And yes, I just had my modeler's license renewed last week!
